Being a huge fan of the Azzuro in Dunmore East, I wanted to love this place - it's been done up really nice and bright inside and has fantastic views of Tramore beach. However the few times I've visited I've been extremely dissappointed. Pizzas are average and overpriced for the size in my opinion. The anti-pasti platter (with grilled aubergines,... More

Was in Azzurro today with my wife and our Australian buddy and her friend (over for holidays). After ordering some cokes and 2 pizzas we had to ask about our drinks after 15mins waiting. Surly waiter plonked the wrong drinks down on our table; he had forgot a water and got Diet Cokes instead of Coke. Eventually one of us... More

We had a Margarita pizza, which was not as nice as Lido (the previous occupant of the premises) it was the same size & considerably more expensive. The table we had has crumbs on it & the glass i has was dirty & i had to ask to have it changed. The drink was not replaced, just poured into the... More

We had a lovely bite to eat last Friday, however the service was extremely slow and it took about 1 hour to get parma ham and bread to our table. Following by about another 45 minute wait for Pizza. They were very tasty though when they finally arrived. Chef also burned a Pizza which almost evacuated the Rest for a... More

We really enjoyed our pizza, very nice pizza base and fresh ingredients/toppings. The service appeared a little under pressure, despite this we were served promptly, in a calm and welcoming fashion, we did not wait long and were not disappointed. The best pizza up and down around! Will definitely be eating here again.

We (Mum, Dad & two pre-teeners) were staying in Dunmore East for a week in August. We had stayed there before so knew the lay of the land. We were (incredibly) lucky this summer to have a few good days at the start of the holiday and so went to Tramore, primarily for the beach. It is always looked down... More
