A little gem in Tramore

Arriving by bus from Waterford we popped into Tourist Information for general guidance and the lady recommended The Vee Bistro. After a stroll around the town and doing one of the designated cliff top walks we stumbled across the bistro. We needed something cool to drink and a snack while sitting... read more

We stopped in for a bite to eat before visting friends for a dinner later in the evening. We decided on three starters so as not to spoil our appetite. A bruschetta, a springroll, and Buffalo Wings. The bruschetta was lovley, springroll average, the wings alas were a let down for me - but my other half liked them. I... More

Myself and my partner stopped here for a coffee and a sandwich on a Sunday. They showed us a Sunday lunch menu but we asked if it was possible to just have a sandwich as it wasn't on the menu which they kindly obliged to. Unfortunately what we got was really substandard. I wanted tuna salad which they didn't have... More

Lovely place to eat. Breakfast, lunch or an evening meal the food is always great. And the staff are very nice.

I stumbled upon this place while in Tramore recently while trying to avoid the many Carvery options available in the area . The menu board outside was more of a description of what might be available rather than a Bill of Fare and it caught my attention . The good weather made it very busy inside but the staff seemed... I have had lunch here a few times and the standard of food is consistent and the service quick and friendly. Really enjoy the Toasted Special. They also do great coleslaw. They also do good cake and coffee. Lovely place to sit outside on a sunny day and watch the world go by.

Booked last minute for a Saturday night and restaurant was very accommodating and sat three of us at 9.15pm. Food was outstanding, some of the best fish I have had in a while, delicious. Service was very good, nothing was a problem. Fish main dishes from approx €15. Large menu size with great choice and there were also specials on... More

Called in here last night as a party of three (two adults & one teenager). We always liked the look of this bistro but never got around to calling in. We were warmly received by Catherine who couldn,t be helpful enough. We had three beautiful meals, especially my hot fish platter. These meals were prepared by a chef well on... More

Visited here with our 4month old baby and was very disappointed. There were no baby changing facilities and was very little room for the buggy. Not suitable for families. Avoid

Food was good with quite a variety. Salads were good, as was the Catch of the Day. KIds loved the children's menu. Tramore is quite hilly so a bit of an uphill walk for the more elderly.
