Exquisite food

We returned to Raglan Road (aka The Esquire previously) for a meal with friends last evening. Excellent meal enjoyed by all. Great variety of fresh seafood, steaks and spare ribs graced our collective platters. All were served well and tasted great. Would recommend a visit here for good night out... read more

Raglan Road (The Esquire pub) is well worth a visit. This is a place with loads of character and a pub full of memorabilia in every square inch. We ate in the bar although they have a restaurant too. The food was excellent, I would highlight recommend the Chowder, this would fill any mans tummy and leave little room for... More

Have been coming here for lunch for a few years now, it's a great restaurant the food is always delicious, a particular family favourite is the potato skins. I've never had a bad experience here a definite recommendation!

Great big bar with friendly staff. Great food. The steaks were to die for and very reasonably priced. Great decor. The music was great but we had to leave early. Looked like the place could get lively!

Wonderful company, wonderful food. This pub is open earlier than some of the other places in town and is quite large with lots of seating. There are large screen TV's and you can bet the game is on. Locals are very helpful and quick to strike up a conversation.

Our B&B recommended this pub for its atmosphere, friendliness and good food. She was not wrong! Maybe the best Irish beef and Guinness stew we had in all of our trip. The service was great and the whole experience was well worth the risk. Mark Cavalcoli
