Excellent food / Great prices

I recently visited this splendid Pub / restaurant where i had what I would consider to be an excellent meal. The meal was served by a very friendly waitress. This restaurant is one I will be making a return visit to.

I cannot understand how this Bar Restaurant can pass the Health and Safety Inspections that are carried out on restaurants. The amount of junk used to decorate the place is 'dangerous' and dirty. It's dark and dull inside and I'm not surprised the last review on this was 2015. I had a bad experience with being served chicken which was... More

We met family in The Raglan for Sunday lunch. This is probably the most family friendly pub that you will ever find. The staff were friendly and helpful. It felt like a home from home. My daughter and son were even allowed to help get their dessert. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. We will definitely return !

Waited 20 minutes before or orders were taken even though there was less than 10 tables being served. Waited another half our for food to come out. Nothing was as stated on the menu. We had to ask twice for our main accompaniments, chips/salad/garlic bread. Which were all listed as coming with the dish on the menu. Some were even... More

For the second time in as many weeks attempted to go for dinner with our 13 month old baby to be told they only have one high chair which was in use! They obviously don't need the custom of families. Not to worry we won't be returning!

Not for the first time have I spent a pleasant few hours soaking in the atmosphere. The staff are second to none. They make you feel very welcome and are very attentive. Even when we were there last week we were not ignored or forgotten tucked away up the stairs in the alcove. The place was very busy but we... More

The premises was quaint and rustic looking at the same time. The beers cold and Guinness good, entertainment was good and not too loud. The food was good but not outstandingly so...we just had basic fish, chips, salad...maybe other dishes were more deliocious. Enjoyed the craic and atmosphere

We came in mid afternoon and ordered some drinks while we were making up our minds whether to eat here too. It's a large place, packed with quirky and interesting decorations. I notice a previous review called it a bit hit and miss and that was the same feeling I got. The bar staff weren't particularly enthusiastic. A pint of... More
