We were at Luigi's Restaurant because of the good feedback on TripAdvisor. But it was the opposite. I have eaten macrels with fries. Something so loveless as at Luigi's, I've never seen before. The waitress was unfriendly, too. This was our worst restaurant on our trip to Ireland. I wouldn't give someone the advice to go to Luigi's. Horrible !!!!

We went to Luigis for Lunch as we were advised it was a nice place to eat. The food was sadly average and not what was expected. In relation to price i would have expected better. I hope to rerturn their and try again in the next couple of months.

Stopped off at Luigi's everyday for coffee after our walk on the beach. Luigi always had a nice treat in his hand for our dog and nice cool bowl of water. Always gratefully received x

Stopped off in Youghal on a sunny bank holiday Monday and was in need of a quick lunch after walking the beach. This is a small and cozy cafe with an Italian menu but it also does salads and sandwiches. Service was polite and friendly and the food was tasty. They are moving to a bigger building beside them on... More

Found this golden nugget through this website and loved it. Took my wife and 3 kids ( 7, 6, 2) for dinner when on holidays a few weeks ago. I ordered the gluten free pizza and chef himself (luigi) brought it to the table with the comment- This will be the best gluten free pizza you will have ever eaten!..... More

Spent a delightful summer evening at this charming restaurant in Youghal. Great selection of food all reasonably priced. Would highly recommend the pizza- all made from fresh ingredients of course. The apple cake was also delicious. Of course, what makes this restaurant truly unique is its wonderful character. One genuinely feels like they have been transported to Sicily. The music,... More

Ate here with a friend last night. Absolutely fantastic. Hospitality was top class. Had vegetable soup for starter followed by a delicious tropical pizza. Pizza was made from scratch as well. The waitress who served us was very kind and not to mention beautiful :) full marks for decor too. Truly a recommended spot for good eating in Youghal.

Decided on a take away and the staff at carleton village recommended this and it was well worth it. Got pizza which was one of the nicest I ever had and fish and chips which would have fed 3 people. Very generous portions and great value for money.

I won't write "best chowder ever" because I look forward to returning for a topper. The huge bowl of superb broth, brimming with mussels and sand clams, potatoes and fish, was accompanied by a stack of toasted brown bread. The friendly server was also the cook, cashier, and music director, acquainting the few of us dining with the songs of... More
