A nice quaint place for a coffee. Decor is old school but lovely. One of the better places to chill in cavan.

The atmosphere in this cafe is fabulous. The cappuccino was excellent and the pastries were delicious. The cafe is great value for money too. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will return next time we are in Cavan.

As always never fails to be great. They do a wonderful selection of bagels, sandwiches and salads. Great place for a quick work lunch or a lesuirely lunch with friends. Waitress service means no queueing so you can sit and chat while you wait.

This is by far one of the best cafés in Cavan town. It has a great selection of bagels and also has an internet café. It is smack bang middle in Cavan town with a great view of the town.

Love this place, its slap bang in the middle of Cavan Town and great for a latte with a bagel. The food is really good especially the large variety of bagels and I definitely recommend the Chicken Caesar Salad. There's a tv on the wall tuned into Sky News so you can keep up to date with the world. Only... More

Delighted to find this cafe in Cavan town. A broad menu with a great choice of freshly made in house salads, bagels and quiche. Efficient and friendly staff and truly delicious food. I especially liked their wide variety of cream, chocolate and gateau cakes. Very busy when we were there and obviously a great favorites with the locals. Highly recommended.

Having run an award winning cafe myself, I know a good one when I find one. We visited Cavan between Christmas and New Year 2013 (for The Strypes Homecoming Gigs). I was bowled over by the decor. atmosphere, ambiance, quality of the food, menu options and the standard of service. I observed kids being welcomed, swiftly given highchairs or pictures... More

Chapter 1 is a excellent cafe for delicious and versatile food. The selection of bagels, wraps, salads, and sandwiches are very different with a wonderful variety. There are dishes from Mexico to U.S.to Europe and are made up fresh to eat on the premises or phone in. The staff are very helpful and everyone is greeted on arrival and departure... More
