If you're looking for a place to dine in Cavan, you can't go wrong with here. High-quality service and beautifully presented food; I could not recommend it highly enough. (The duck is excellent, get the duck)

Welcome back Susan and Fergus. Miss you terribly in Cootehill. Lovely meal on the decking on a beautiful summers evening by the river. The ambiance is just perfect and the staff very helpful and friendly. The food as always was perfect reasonably priced and cooked to perfection. Our loss Butlers bridges gain. Will visit again soon.

Had lunch with family . Poor selection to choose from, and when it arrived after some time , it was below average . Have made better myself . Not good value for money ! Friendly service but not very good . Would I recommend or return , certainly not .

Went with a group of friends to the restaurant. Refurbishment in bar is warm, welcoming and atmospheric. The restaurant is spacious and well staffed with helpful and friendly staff. We were expecting something special in restaurant but at the moment is bar food standred. The meals were average.

Six of us ate here recently for a birthday party. The bar was mobbed when we arrived and the restaurant was very busy yet we got our table on time and the service and staff were great throughout the night. The garden and decking by the river make for very nice surroundings. You go through the bar to get to the... More

Having experienced the superior food & service in Murph's Cootehill on several occasions (even on Valentine's night when most restaurants provide mediocre food & service), we eagerly awaited their opening in Butlersbridge. We weren't disappointed! A new venture, new staff, new challenge but all done with same professionalism & high standards. Despite huge crowds the standard of food is consistently... More
