Popped in just for coffee on a cold, miserable day. Have not been in this restaurant for a few years and was surprised and pleased over the transformation. It was a shame we only wanted coffee as it would have been a lovely place to have lunch.

Chanced upon this bistro whilst looking for somewhere to eat in the Killaloe area whilst on holiday. and weren't disappointed. It was a Sunday and the place was very busy, I imagine , with locals that know a good place to eat. We were seated and given an extensive menu that catered for all appetites and the food we chose... This is a warm, cosy and bright bistro. Menu is very reasonably priced and the food is tasty and fresh. I also noticed that the wine is reasonably priced compared to other restaurants. Looking forward to going again.

Visited Killaloe Co Clare Friday 29/11, was looking for somewhere to have Brunch & Coffee. Discovered Wood Brothers on Main Street and what a discovery. On entering there was a great buzz in the restaurant promptly shown a table and given a menu. I was very impressed by this menu simple but well thought out from a full irish breakfast... More

We have eaten here now on several occasions whilst visiting friends in Killaloe. Not only is the food delicious (they do a mean Thai red curry) but also we were served large portions by very polite and attentive staff. We were felt welcome with our three children and service was quick and friendly and the prices were reasonable. We will... More

The all day breakfast menu at wood brothers is worth travelling for! I had breakfast in a 5 star trump international hotel yesterday and my wood brothers 'mini' breakfast today beat that hands down! I recently ate dinner here for the first time too and it was delicious, very reasonable prices too, so much so that my BF assumed the... More

We went in here this morning. Two adults and two kids. They could not cater for kids whatsoever and got our order wrong three times before they brought out something that vaguely resembled what we ordered, if you have it on the menu surely you should know what to make it?

I visited the new wine bar/snug on a Saturday night for dinner with my family before moving on to another venue , we were all very happy with our meals and our wine was excellent in both taste and value , my BIL was able to tell me that the same bottle if wine in a Limerick restaurant was nearly... Loved the breakfast at Wood brothers, just wasting all of the full one is a challenge! I recommend the mini. Will be back next time we're in Killaloe.
