Visited Killaloe Co Clare Friday 29/11, was looking for somewhere to have Brunch & Coffee. Discovered Wood Brothers on Main Street and what a discovery. On entering there was a great buzz in the restaurant promptly shown a table and given a menu. I was very impressed by this menu simple but well thought out from a full irish breakfast... More

We have eaten here now on several occasions whilst visiting friends in Killaloe. Not only is the food delicious (they do a mean Thai red curry) but also we were served large portions by very polite and attentive staff. We were felt welcome with our three children and service was quick and friendly and the prices were reasonable. We will... More

The all day breakfast menu at wood brothers is worth travelling for! I had breakfast in a 5 star trump international hotel yesterday and my wood brothers 'mini' breakfast today beat that hands down! I recently ate dinner here for the first time too and it was delicious, very reasonable prices too, so much so that my BF assumed the... More

We went in here this morning. Two adults and two kids. They could not cater for kids whatsoever and got our order wrong three times before they brought out something that vaguely resembled what we ordered, if you have it on the menu surely you should know what to make it?

I visited the new wine bar/snug on a Saturday night for dinner with my family before moving on to another venue , we were all very happy with our meals and our wine was excellent in both taste and value , my BIL was able to tell me that the same bottle if wine in a Limerick restaurant was nearly... Loved the breakfast at Wood brothers, just wasting all of the full one is a challenge! I recommend the mini. Will be back next time we're in Killaloe.

The "mini" is big enough for me with clonakilty back pudding, sausage, bacon, eggs and all the trimmings. Yum! We go there every time we're in Killaloe and would thoroughly recommend it. The hot chocolate is also a winner with marshmallows for children.

We stumbled upon Wood Brothers in Killaloe while visiting friends in Co. Clare. It's a charming, well-run bistro that has a great menu. And, importantly for us, is very family-friendly. Our toddlers were made to feel very welcome and the child-size portions were generous and went down a treat! Wood Brothers has a lovely family-run business feel but at the... More

I used to enjoy seafood chowder in a number of establishments in Co Clare, now only one place can be considered...Wood Brothers Bistro... it is just consistently great.

Over the last two weeks I've been here twice and it has literally tested my patience. The staff havent a clue and were very rude on two occasions. Will never be back here.
