Under new ownership

Now that Wood Brothers is under new ownership I was very surprised that there was such a difference in the quality of service. We were left short a juice which was included in the mini breakfast, I was given a boiled egg in a cup with no plate or eggspoon. Nobody asked us how the service or food... read more

Went to Woods Brothers for a bite to eat with my wife this evening. All I can say is our experience there was amazing. We got treated like royalty by Adam and his staff. We started with a glass of wine beside the cosy wood burning stove and our evening just got better and better. Food was excellent as too... More

Elegantly stylish, delicious food, charming staff, a great spot to visit for coffee, lunch or dinner. While we only had coffee and scone there was delicious food being served all round us. It looked and smelled mouthwatering. Very busy spot in town centre, well worth a visit.

My husband decided to take myself and his Mum to lunch on Sunday. Not for any particular reason except I suppose he wanted to treat his two favourite ladies in his life! Anyway, we chose to go to Wood Brothers in Killaloe. It was quite a grey, foggy afternoon with a distinctive chill in the air that was thankfully dispelled... More

Popped in just for coffee on a cold, miserable day. Have not been in this restaurant for a few years and was surprised and pleased over the transformation. It was a shame we only wanted coffee as it would have been a lovely place to have lunch.

Chanced upon this bistro whilst looking for somewhere to eat in the Killaloe area whilst on holiday. and weren't disappointed. It was a Sunday and the place was very busy, I imagine , with locals that know a good place to eat. We were seated and given an extensive menu that catered for all appetites and the food we chose... This is a warm, cosy and bright bistro. Menu is very reasonably priced and the food is tasty and fresh. I also noticed that the wine is reasonably priced compared to other restaurants. Looking forward to going again.

Visited Killaloe Co Clare Friday 29/11, was looking for somewhere to have Brunch & Coffee. Discovered Wood Brothers on Main Street and what a discovery. On entering there was a great buzz in the restaurant promptly shown a table and given a menu. I was very impressed by this menu simple but well thought out from a full irish breakfast... More
