9 course delight

Really superb food....loads of choice and I wanted everything on the menu. Don't look for WiFi....it's very very slow. Great peaceful place.

A group of 6 friends ate in Gregan's Castle 2 weeks ago. We had booked a few weeks earlier and indicated that a coeliac would be in the party. When we were seated we were told that there would be no a la carte menu that night because of some unexplained incident or event, probably a chef didint turn up... More

The hotel restaurant is top-tier gourmet and serves modern Irish & European food, made from local and regional ingredients, including organic Burren beef and lamb, and local Atlantic seafood. The combination of an inspired menu, local ingredients, impeccable execution, artful plating and superb service make Gregans a definite on the "must return" list.

We ate here for a wedding reception. We had an 8 course meal that was delicious. Talented chef! The dining room is elegant. Wait staff were awesome. Highly recommend. It is a bit pricey.

This was one of our favorite places during our stay in Ireland. This country house is in the middle of nowhere, nicely renovated but kept his charm. The colors in the house are perfectly geared to each other and the furniture is just to feel comfortable while looking outside in the garden and the beautiful Burren-region. Around the house is... My boyfriend and i enjoy spending a few weekends of the year in different parts of Ireland and visiting recommended restaurants. We would rely on TripAdvisor for the majority of reviews so when i researched and read about Gregans Castle Hotel, i was excited to visit this "luxury retreat" and enjoy dinner in their award winning fine dinning restaurant. Myself and my wife stayed for a midweek break away from the kids. The hotel was just perfect, our room was upgraded upon arrival, the hotel and room was very tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was amazing, we had the 9 course gourmet menu and it was absolutely world class. We live... More

The restaurant at Gregans Castle outside Ballyvaughan has to be the best in Ireland these days. The hotel is beautifully set between Burren mountains, facing the evening lights of Galway city across the bay. The restaurant looks out towards the bay in the distance, and directly on to the manicured lawn outside. Menu is 3-course a la carte, but really... More

A great place to eat. Well served, a well planned menu and exceptional cooking. We liked the way table availability is managed so each course comes without undue delay, yet there is no sense of being hurried.
