We stayed two nights at Gregans and had the tasting menu on one evening - it was one of the best meals I have ever had! The food was outstanding from start to finish and they could not have been more helpful at adapting the menu for a pregnant lady who couldn't eat some things. The wines served also were... More

We went to Gregans Castle at the weekend for my mums 50th Birthday! Everyone was so excited about we are all very interested in food and thought it would be such a treat to go there. We had heard so many good things about the place and couldn't believe how bad it was. From start to finish it was a... More

We stopped off here for an afternoon drink in the corkscrew bar while travelling through the burren last summer. It's a beautiful, cosy bar, the staff were lovely and friendly. The setting is absolutely amazing! Would love to come back for a meal some time, it would be a real treat.

We booked for 7.30pm and changed it to 8.30 pm . We got there for 7.30 but though there was a cancellation for the 7.30 pm sitting we could not be accommodated... Fair enough. We waited the hour in a lovely bar and lounge with a few drinks. However when we sat down we were informed we could only have... More

We decided to treat ourselves to a meal at the castle for our anniversary. We made reservations online for the 9 course tasting menu, which we confirmed a few days before without issue. We arrived early and enjoyed a drink in the corkscrew bar. We were then moved to the dining room for our meal, which was outstanding! Don't let... More

Just back from a truly lovely meal at this hotel. My partner and I were made very welcome and the service throughout the evening was faultless. The food was a complete pleasure, the flavour combinations were excellent and the presentation amazing. Will definitely return again and recommend,

A few years ago, Ireland experienced their food revolution from local dining to haute cuisine. Gregan's was the only place in my lengthy trip that qualifies as the latter. The opening amuse of three tiny mousse bites exploded with flavor in my mouth. The later courses of Irish salmon and rack of lamb were delectable, and perfectly seasoned. Apparently, seasoning...
