Everything is freshly made and really well presented and tasty. The decor, and especially the conservatory, are really welcoming and comfortable.

Arrived at 1.10pm very impressed with what we saw, however that is as far as the good impression went! It was not busy but we were left standing waiting for a small 2 seater table to be cleaned and reset (10 mins). Another 5 mins to get menus, another 5-7 mins before our order was taken. Ten mins later when... More

After a three hour chilly hike up the Burren the tea room was a welcoming, warm (with fire blazing in the fireplace) and delicious smells emanating out the kitchen. Our party enjoyed delicious soups, curried chicken sandwiches and pastries. The highlight was definitely the chocolate cake. Delicious infused water and cappuccinos rounded off a terrific meal. Worth the 15 minute... More

We stumbled upon this place originally and have gone back since. It is absolutely lovely. Wonderful meals, ridiculously delicious desserts. It is the kind of place that you hope to find when visiting Ireland. Lovely settling, gracious hosts, great selection. But, absolutely save room for dessert.

This is a late review. My husband and I called in unexpectedly (it is a long story, started with a wallet being left behind in our B&B) when we visited Ireland in October 2014. Had a very pleasant lunch in a gorgeous setting. We intend returning to Ireland in the first quarter of 2015, unfortunately we will have to wait... More

Had a lovely chicken with mango curried Mayo, grape and red onion bap but it was really just a very small roll. It was very expensive at €7.95 for the size but was very tasty. Cappuccino was very bitter and my lemon and coconut cake was only ok. Unfortunately they were out of all the water infusions. Service average.

Excellent quality and matching service and matched the best value we have experienced. We would have no reservations about recommending the place to anyone.

A truly fantastic experience. A team of staff who are devoted to providing the highest standards of really delicious, lovingly prepared and served food.... food that you'd like to think you could cook at home but much much much better !! I only wish they opened in the evenings.

My husband and I dropped in to the Tea and Garden Rooms on Saturday last on our way to Gregan's Castle. We wanted something light to eat as we were booked into dine at Gregan's later that night. We opted for a mug of delicious soup and a sandwich each. Both were excellent and we then couldn't resist trying a... More

What a wonderful find in Ballyvaughan! Jayne runs a wonderful little tea room that overlooks the bay, the food is wonderful and everything is local. She makes amazing pastries and desserts. After a long day in the car this was just the place we needed for some wonderful comfort food -- get the chicken and bacon pie -- it's like... More
