Beautiful garden, delicious pastries!

Very impressed with this cute little place! Our hostess at our B&B in Doolin recommended that we stop here for a pasty and coffee/tea and we are so glad that we did. We actually had breakfast about an hour or so before our stop but when we walked in and saw all the cakes and pies and tarts we... read more

We had read so much about this place, sadly it fell far short of expectations. We just popped in for a snack had two sandwiches and mackerel pate. One sandwich consisted of a slice of average ham relish and a slice of commercial cheese, not.even a local cheese in what only be described as a finger bun, the other sandwich... More

We were very impressed with the gardens, although the weather meant we could not spend time outdoors. The lunches were good, and the display of cakes mouthwatering!

I visited on a midweek afternoon with a friend. A quaint setting with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The homemade lemonades and desserts are delicious! Food is slightly over priced but overall a very enjoyable and pleasant experience.

Had Sunday lunch at the Tea Rooms in Ballyvaughan. Had the lentil in filo pastry tart plus 2 salads at a cost €12.00. I got one slice and the two salads consisted of a spoonful of couscous and a few lettuce leaves. While it tasted nice I thought it very bad value for money. My friend had the fish pie,... More

The Wild Atlantic Way is taking off. This is a 300 mile journey from Donegal to Cork. Car, motor bike, cycle, walk, you decide. Its a new marketing idea by those good people at Failte Ireland. The journey takes you through the most beautiful parts of Ireland. Its long, so you can do it in short hops. However you do... More

The lunch here was really tasty! The options were great! It was very busy but the staff seated us within minutes and were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The setting is so pretty and the location is great, right by the water. The cakes were amazing! We will definitely be back next time we are in the west!

We just keep coming back here every time we visit this part of the country, it's really special! It has to be one of the nicest places in the country to have lunch or just tea or coffee and cake. Everything is freshly made and really well presented and tasty. The decor, and especially the conservatory, are really welcoming and comfortable.
