Would have to agree with previous posters about the service. Normally if it was just me an the missus the waiting issue would not bother us, but it was magnified as we had a three year old boy who only sits still for a limited time. As anyone with small kids will know sometimes you just want to get in,... More

We had visitors over for the weekend from the UK so we decided to bring them to The Waters Edge for dinner on Sunday night. In all the times we have eaten here we have never had cause to complain. We had a lovely drink in the bar very relaxed and didn't feel rushed at all. Once in the restaurant... More

An excellent choice for dinner,we were a family of 5 dining in this fine eatery, great choices on the menu with all of us getting different mains, from chicken to steak and pasta for the youngest, 10/10 for all mains and gorgeous sticky toffee pudding for afters. Good value to boot. (Set menu).Staff very friendly indeed.

i have been here a few times, this time the food was better, but shame about the service, waited too long for menu, wine list, then took ages to come back to us to take our order, one member of staff seemed happier talking to her mate, that just arrived than concentrating on her customers,i also noticed other patrons leaving the table to... We visited with my wife, 10 week old baby and my parents. We had a fantastic lunch and were taken by the beautiful views from our table. The food was hearty as you would expect in Ireland and we all left thinking it was the best meal of our trip. To be fair it was very quiet on a Wednesday... More

I went there with my Farther and mum and had the best Irish meal ever. Great staff and amazing view. I also thought the Hotel rooms were amazing.

Ate Sunday Lunch there today and it was awful. The chowder was cold, turkey and ham dried up and the potatoes tasted like they had been burned to the bottom of the saucepan. Beautiful view I have to say but food very disappointing especially when you like to get out on a Sunday to eat when you have been cooking... More

Was looking forward to visting this restaurant on a week long stay to Rathmullan - what a disappointment! We ventured there on Sunday evening and the place seemed busy enough without being packed out. We waited 10 mins on a table, average enough and then were shown to our seats by a waiter who handed us menus and then took... More

The menu was simple yet exigent, I tried a fish-dish and pavalova with fruits for dessert, it was yummy. The staff was polite and quick. Unfortunately, we went there at night and in the winter, so we could not enjoy fully its special water view. I can imagine that it is wonderful during the day in the summer and especially... More
