Secondly the overall atmosphere and decor Thirdly the geographical location and finally and most importantly the service provided and the food served So often one or more if... More

I cannot gush enough about this most fabulous restaurant. My first visit back to my favourite restaurant since having a baby (with her in tow) so I expected a different experience, which it was, but no less enjoyable. We went at 6pm for the first sitting, the staff were as friendly and efficient as ever. I don't even know where... More

Restaurant in a church, seems exclusive and certainly not cheap but we did not eat there, looks you must reserve.

A warm welcome to be found at this converted church. Excellent service, food and drinks. Warm and cosy on a cool night. This is an award winning restaurant, and deserves it!

I keep reviewing this restaurant and the sheer profesional and consistent standard of service never ceases to amaze me. The staff are here for years so everything runs like clockwork, from the moment you walk in you are in good hands. Great food served with a smile......

Went here with a group of 9 family members to celebrate an occasion. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and airy. The menu was substantial and offered overwhelming choice for such a hidden gem. Starters included smoked salmon, tagliatelle, Mediterranean tartlet, soup, pate and mussels among others. The mains ranged from duck, steak, roast lamb, chicken, risotto, to a substantial range... I have been to Chez Hans many times over the past 30 years and a recent visit confirmed that the standard is as good as ever. Delicious fish dish, excellent house white, charming and at the same time non-invasive, service. I cannot recommend this little gem too highly.

The best Ceasar Salad ever. Main course scallops were wonderful. In an old church building just off the Main Street of Cashel. Soft music, great art, great service. Beautifully appointed table. Truly memorable. Thank you Hans!

The food is delicious, you can taste the freshness of the ingredients, the wine list is excellent. But the crowning glory is the dessert- a creme caramel with a whiskey foam, Unreal! Will be back.
