We have been to this top class restaurant many times over the years and each time I think maybe this time it will all go badly wrong, not a chance, staff here are so well organised they have the whole process of to a fine art. The cornerstone of this restaurant is top quality food served with the minimum of... More

Had lunch there today and it was absolutely lovely. Lovely atmosphere you would never guess the town had gone mad outside. Would recommend for Lunch as the restaurant was closed till the evening.

Fabulous yet again. Had the Mussels and the Pheasant. Love the two types of Pheasant meat, a delicate pan fried breast and a rich gamey leg confit. Top service, top food, fabulous atmosphere. Chez Hans is the benchmark against which all restaurants must compete. Continues to deliver solid good food done brilliantly.

We decided to go to Chez Hans because it's honestly the only really top-notch place in the area and we wanted a real treat to cap off a week's stay in Cahir. And it was sooo worth it. I wasn't very hopeful when we first entered, as the foyer aroma for some reason reminded me an old folks' home, but... More

We had an elderly relative who wanted to take home the soda bread we had not finished. The lovely Hostess encouraged her to take it, wrapped it in a container and made us all feel so comfortable that we stayed longer than we planned. beautiful food, terrific ambiance and wonderful service.

I had heard great things about this place and was excited to see for myself. The bar is great with a good atmosphere. The main room in the restaurant is beautiful place to have dinner. The wine list is very small and uninspiring, but the sommelier knew his stuff and was good fun. Our whole group very much enjoyed their... More

The restaurant itself is beautiful and is worth a visit alone,a... More

It's really good and well done food. Portions sizes are fairly small but it's all about presentation in high end restaurants like this one. It is expensive but the food is really good and it's a nice quiet restaurant. The staff is also excellent and professional.
