Chez Hans serves rich tasty food. Consistent good menus with lovely fresh seasonal ingredients. The dining room is interesting being set in an old chapel. The approach to the restaurant is unattractive and the bar is awful with terrible lighting and furniture and decor looking dated and tired. The staff are friendly and efficient.

I found this Restaurant to be very over-priced, the food is nice however I have had nicer in nearby restaurants and saved more in my pocket. Staff are friendly but found it difficult to get their attention at times but i didn’t mind that so much as the general service manner was friendly!

I have been to Chez Hans a few times when traveling in Ireland and it has been a terrific experience each time. The casual drink in the pub and opportunity to place your order is a great way to start and not feel rushed while relaxing after arriving. Every meal that I have had has been outstanding and the wine... More

Hans hits the spot every time. The food, setting and staff are first class. If you want a guaranteed good nights dining I could not recommend a better restaurant than Chez Hans. Early Bird menu is great value and the al-a -carte is extensive but a little more pricey.

Limited menu and very expensive. Wait staff largely inattentive. More show than substance. Inside of church building was interesting

I took a while before writing this review to see if time would soften my opinion. It hasn't. Judging by the prices, this restaurant has high a opinion of itself, but the food and service don't match up to that ambition. From the time we placed our order until being told our table was ready was less than two minutes.... More

I took a while before writing my response to your review, to see if time would soften my opinion of you, it hasn't. We all remember the night you were in, although it was some time ago. Unfortunately we at Chez Hans, like all serviced based businesses, have to deal with the good and the bad when it comes to... More

One of the nicest places I have eaten in awhile. Very friendly staff and great service. On entering you await your table while sitting in the snug outside. This place is an old church at the foot of the rock of cashel which has been turned into a lovely restaurant. It's a little expensive but it's worth it.

Took my girlfriend here for her birthday and what a treat it was. We were booked for 8:30 but as it was very busy we sat at 9:15. For starters I had the mussels which were perfectly cooked and delicious and my girlfriend had the mushroom soup which she said was delicious also......For mains it was free range chicken for...
