It was a busy lunchtime, but I waited for ages to attract attention to ask for a table, and eventually just took one. I felt sorry for the waitresses, as they were young and maybe inexperienced to deal with a lunch rush. At no point did anyone make eye contact when I wanted to order, the waitress seemed embarrassed and... More

Having had lunch here on a number of occasions, we decided to have an evening meal on Bank Holiday Monday. I'm used to eating upstairs. However, this was full and we were shown to a table downstairs. Food was of the usual high standard, but the noise and heat were unbearable. We had booked a table for 5 and were... More

Great place for lunch or dinner and you can bring your own wine. Great service and they don't mind if you want to change the menu a bit. I like the tomato sauce with pasta and not the cream sauce. My friend like more garlic and pepperoni on the pizza.

I regularly eat here for lunch or dinner. Lunch in particular is extremely affordable, I would highly recommend a chicken sandwich! Staff are very friendly and all food is cooked fresh, portions are very generous. Can be very busy at lunchtime which illustrates how popular the restaurant is.

Beautiful cosy restaurant in the heart of Clonmel. The food is here is of a very high standard and the prices are reasonable. Though it not wheelchair accessible, the staff are very helpful in getting the wheelchair into the restaurant. The atmosphere her is very relaxed and friendly.

The food here is very good - I recommend the steak, tagine, and diavolla for evening dining, and the open sandwich for lunch - like nothing youve tasted before - freshly made warm soft pitta type bread filled with very delicious freshly prepared meat and/or veg in a tomatoey sauce - mmm! The salads are also excellent. And you can... More

We arrived back in Clonmel after a long day exploring the surrounding countryside & were having trouble finding somewhere to eat when we came across he Galileo Cafe who happily served us even though we arrive just as they were about to close. Even so we were not rushed into eating our meal.

I liked the inexpensive yet tasty food. Not for special occasions but lovely for meeting friends. Bring your own bottle of wine. Very satisfying.
