I've never had such good pub food! We had a tomato bisque and a seafood chowder. Both were amazing. I always expect pub food to be, well, pub food. This was so much more! We stopped by early on a Wednesday night. It was quiet and homely.

I have eat Mulcahy's a number of times and in my opinion they are one of the best restaurants in Clonmel. Friendly staff, great affordable food, and nice look to the place really add to the experience. What more could you ask for.

We went to Mulcahy's for lunch on a Saturday with some family members home from England. We had to have a good look around to find seating to fit six adults and three children. One of the waiting staff showed us to a corner right beside a projection screen that was showing a match, one of two huge projection screens.... More

Great carvery but the service by 3 individuals was astonishingly bad. Firstly The smarmy chef, secondly the sour server who was vocally arguing with and complaining to us about the chef and finally the owners wife who nearly snapped my hand and head off when paying really spoiled the experience. Plus the soccer match blaring at both ends of the... More

The tea took 15 minutes to arrive then another 15 minutes before my husbands breakfast, then another few minutes for mine the toast was last to arrive if you could call it toasted, the place wasn't busy the waitress was not... Carvery lunch is good, you get a good selection for a good price. But it's the desserts display that always captures my eye, hard not to resist. Always a great place to stop for a bite to eat if around Clonmel. It's often busy to which s a good sign in itself.
