A group of friends and I enjoyed a Grande Finale to a great day's walking, in Hanora's Cottage recently. We were treated on arrival to pots of freshly brewed coffee, tea and home- baking. Viewed the menu over a couple of drinks in a comfortable lounge area. The meal was served by friendly and helpful staff and was enjoyed by... More

While staying in Dungarvan it was suggested by family a meal at Hanorah's Cottage would be nice! It was quite a drive from Dungarvan but well worth it, the staff, food, service was just excellent. It is very rare these that you can come away from somewhere feeling that well satisfied. You are welcomed on arrival, given menu's which you... More

We stayed one quiet Friday night. Hidden in the Nire valley, The road past the accommodation just comes to a dead end , passing over fast flowing rivers coming down from the mountains. Very little mobile coverage gives no excuse but to chill out. Room was v spacious with jacuzzi. Baskets of books left on the landings for guests to... More

In the heart of County Waterford with my wife. We passed Hanora's Cottage saw some people sitting outside and wife said she would love some tea and scones. We called in and were seated and served fresh homemade scones (Brown and White) with a pot of tea and POT of coffee. We sat and enjoyed the quiet and we were... More

We stayed for 2 nights & had a wonderful stay. The owner & staff made us feel so welcome & always had a cup of tea & buns on hand when we came back from our walks. The bedrooms were spacious & beds were really comfy. Breakfast was fab & there was lots to choose from. You could even take... More

I must admit that this was my second trip to Hanora's Cottage this year and to be quiet honest I was very impressed with the consistancy of quality which was provided. There were four of us and not one was in any way dissapointed. The meal was as you would expect, pure perfection. The service was awesome and the interaction... More

Had a wonderful few days staying in Hanora's Cottage, the room and large bathroom was bright, spacious and extremely clean. All our meals were delicious, fresh and nicely presented by very friendly and helpful staff. The location is just beautiful - perfect for a quiet relaxing break with lots of walks for all levels. Would really recommend it........

We had a wonderful stay in Hanora's cottage. The ambiance was perfect, the food excellent and the bedrooms were quiet and cosy. If you want to get away from it all this is the perfect place. Before we left on the sunday we had teas, coffees, homemade cake, biscuits and muffins all complementary. The breakfast is YUM. John and Rena... More

Recently i visited Hanoras Cottage restaurant for a meal and i was excited and looking forward to it as i had heard some good reviews , however i was disapointed overall with the evening. The food quality was good to be fair, the set menu of 39 euros was a little steep in this day and age, the service was... More

Just returned home to West Cork having spent a very precious weekend in Hanora's Cottage. The welcome was warm, the room quiet, the food delicious and the scenery was perfect. We intended to go hill walking but the rain forced us to turn back after an hour. We had no problem entertaining ourselves in both Carrick on Suir + Clonmel,... More
