I went here recently with my partner and asked for two slices of chocolate cake. We got one normal slice and what I can only describe as a sliver. My partner wanted to say something, but I have a policy of never complaining about food, in case you get a replacement portion that has been "tampered with"..... If you get... More

I went to Quimby's last week & was pleasantly surprised by the grea breakfast menu. I had the eggs Benedict & it was perfectly cooked & the hollandaise sauce was top notch. My partner also thoroughly enjoyed his full irish breakfast. It was also very reasonable at €15 for two breakfasts & coffee. I will definitely be returning.

I've been a few times and always have been fairly satisfied. A few niggles at times with waiting for stuff or running out of stuff but generally it's good. The deserts are excellent and very large. Upstairs seat by the window is the best in the house and you can watch Clonmel pass by while sipping your coffee

I love this place and visit regularly as I live nearby. The menu is great and I've never had a bad meal here. The girls serving are so friendly and welcoming. No matter how busy it is they never seem under pressure or moody . It does get very busy at lunchtimes but that's because it's so good.

Sometimes hard to get a seat a lunch, but their full Irish makes up for it, one thing I didn't like there was Scotch Egg was why overcooked, egg was hard instead of runny. Service also very good, if going for lunch there be there early otherwise you wouldn't get a seat.

Great quality food best place in Clonmel for breakfast and lunch. Warm chicken sandwich and the full Irish breakfast are always really excellent

Food fabulous, however while staff are really nice and friendly, the food is slow to come to the table. I suppose it does reassure me that orders are freshly prepared. Well worth a visit, hard to beat it in Clonmel at lunchtime.

Had brunch at the cafe today with friends. As I'm from England I was pleased they have scotch egg on the menu and didn't have any hesitation to order it. Really enjoyed it with red onion marmalade and black pudding. Totally delicious :-) The service was great and the ladies were smiley and friendly. I'll definitely come back to this... More

Very good value cafe for a breakfast full meal or light lunch just away from the centre of town so parking available on side streets. Busy at weekend, but be aware they close at 5pm and then menu reduces to snacks after 3pm. Very helpful staff

Been here a couple of times, staff are pleasant and as soon as you enter the door you are greeted. I have only had the breakfast here but it was smashing every time. If your in a hurry avoid at lunchtime as it's very busy at that time. But if you aren't I can't recommend Quimbys more.
