I visited this restaurant on Saturday and I was very impressed by the quick and friendly service, the large menu with plenty of options and also the free meals for children. The waitress helpfully explained to me that a kid receives a free meal, drink and jelly and ice cream with every adult's meal purchased on the lunch menu -... More

This restaurant serves good food at a reasonable price and the staff are friendly. There is a good range of food, dinners (meat/chicken with veg), Chips, burgers, fish, omelette's,etc They even do a slimming world menu for people who are counting sins. There is something for everyone's taste buds.

The menu is great. I can't fault it. Most things are quite tasty. They seem to specialise in fish so it's strange on their "specials" board they often have specials they don't cook particularly well. Losing marks because: 1. Kids eat free. This place is noisy. I always pop my head in to gauge the noise level, only for 5... More

This is an amazing restaurant, husband had prawn cocktail and I had the most amazing mushroom soup, we were so full after this, more like a main course. The fish and chips and chicken dinner were also lovely and plentiful. Te lovely staff were so pleasant and helpful. Would certainly recommend this eaten to anyone. Thank you.

I have been to the Kingfisher a number of times over the last couple of years and definitely think the food is not what it once was. On the most part the food is good and staff are grand. The place defintiely lacks a bit of atmosphere. On my latest visit I noticed that portions have been dramatically cut down... More

Just had dinner in the Kingfisher with husband and two small kids. We had two soups to start, great portions, lovely flavour, and the fresh baguette sliced was a lovely touch. For mains, I had omelette and hand-cut chips, hubbie had the chicken Maryland - his rice was rubbery, but otherwise all was good. Baby had soup and potato, toddler... More
