I've been to this place several times now and I've always had great food and value. Their seniors lunch on Tue to Fri is particularly good value. Tables are a bit tight because its an old building with lots of smaller rooms. However this is more than made up by the ambiance of the place both inside and outside. Great... More

Def worth a visit. Chowder and Guinness a great combination!! The bits and bobs around the bar and surroundings add a great deal to the quirkiness of the place. A great spot, keep up the good work!!

We go to Fitzpatricks as often as we can as the kids love the quirky stuff outside especially at Halloween (well worth a visit alone) The food is hearty and the staff friendly - although fairly expensive we only visit as a special treat! Guinness is amazing too !!

Food is delicious but the prices are slowly rising and there is never enough tables. If you do go there I would recommend the seafood chowder or the buffalo wings to start.

Visit here every couple of months and food always excellent. However this was first time visiting that I wasn't impressed. The feed was at it's usual high standard and our main waitress was very nice & helpful. Service was slow, actually very slow even for a busy night and our coffees/teas arriving before our dessert was not ideal. The only... More

Had our first visit here recently based on recommendations from friends. Everything was fabulous. The set menu was reasonably priced and I am looking forward to returning soon.

We live 50 minutes away but love to stop here to eat when we are in the area. Love the quirky decor and food is without fail, wonderful. The presentation is just great. Stopped in last Friday evening and were lucky to get a table without a booking. As always it was a pleasure. Grainne was our waitress and she... More

We returned here after 40 years when the restaurant was called Angela's! The food was excellent then and is still excellent today. It was very busy but the service was still very good. The lobster dish will be a topic of conversation for many a year! Great to go back to somewhere and be just as enthusiastic!

We called here last Thursday as It was highly recommended. What a lovely quaint busy place, sadly we waited an hour on a steak sandwich and plain old bacon, beans and chips as I'd skipped breakfast! But the worst of all was when they charged me 15.50 euro for the 2 slices of bacon, chips and beans?? Come off it I... More

Just finished my meal and could not eat the braised daube of beef I ordered as sticky fat all through meat. When I was paying I was informed that it would be normal for cow cheeks to be fatty, I paid and left. I was nearly sick to find out it was cow cheeks as no mention on the menu.... More
