Fantastic dining experience from start to finish

I've read a lot of reviews about Fitzpatrick's and I really don't know how this place gets any negative feedback. It is simply one of the best dining experiences that I've ever had! Came here many times always with great service and fantastic food with the same group of people. Was wanting to celebrate a special occasion...what a disappointment! Service was dreadful..had to go to bar and ask for someone to serve us and eventually or food and drink order was taken. Got drink and eventually breads and dips which at first glance... More

Sunday lunch is very good value, with an excellent choice of starters and mains even for a vegetarian.

What a wonderful place to eat. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about Fitzpatricks. We started our weekend in Dublin eating at the various restaurants along the way. Nothing compared to this pub/restaurant. The atmosphere was amazing. The food divine and cooked exactly as we requested. The staff friendly and happy, comfortable seating and great value for money. There... More

Firstly let me say there is a massive effort put into the decoration at Fitzpatricks. At different times throughout the year the external entrance and car park serves as a haunted house or Santa's grotto (with reindeer) depending on the season. Even inside there is a plethora of trinkets and nostalgic paraphernalia that could belong in a museum rather than... More

Visited on a busy Friday evening arriving with no booking at 6.30pm - we were seated right away at the only spare table. The service was prompt and friendly and the food was gorgeous. We ordered from the set menu goats cheese and warm bacon salad to start which were very well presented and tasty. We then had steak and... More

We travelled around an hour to visit Firzpatrick's on a friends recommendation. The decor and setting is fantastic, bathed in vintage signs and memorabilia. We were a party of four arriving for lunch at just after 1pm; the restaurant was between half and two thirds full. We counted four members of waiting staff passing us by without any acknowledgement and... More

It was easy to see this place is moving with the times. Counted over 12 service staff all doing their thing really well!! Kids... More

I always like dining here as it has a great reputation and is always consistent. The food is always great and the restaurant has a cosy feel to it with the decor and surrounding areas well maintained.

we stopped over here on a tour.. the guide recommended the seafood chowder. we had packed a lunch for oursleves so didnt have much here except seafood chowder and a pint of guinness and soft drink. however, i must say the atmosphere is quirky and fun. the seafood chowder was an absolute delight. costing 5.95 euros, the seafood chowder had...
