Service with a smile

Eleven of us stopped for dinner after a round of golf. They had our table ready, and Emma and her colleagues took great care of us. On a bank holiday weekend the place was packed, but service was first class and the food was good. The décor was high end Cracker Barrel with lots of old signs and... read more

While parents were visiting from chester, i and my partner decided to take them to Fitzpatrick's for evening meal, a good 40 minuet drive from Armagh, but worth every mile of it. Fitzpatrick's has so much character about it and certainly has that WOW factor. On arrival were quickly shown our table and were remembered by staff from our first... More

Stopped for lunch a couple of weeks ago and had a fabulous creamy fish chowder. Lovely setting, friendly staff. Homemade bread and apple tarts a little over priced. Would have liked a bit more of a selection of lunch food not full dinners a few wraps or sandwiched on the menu would be great.

Must say I really enjoy the food here, every time I come. I just wish you weren't sitting on top of each other. I love the quirkiness of the place the memorabilia hanging from the walls and in the bathrooms. The staff are great. I find them quite attentive and their chef is worth his weight in gold in my... Anyone who has been to the famous Jonnie Fox's in Glencullen up in the Wicklow mountains south of Dublin will know that these guys are providing a "manufactured" carbon copy. While there is nothing wrong with that, it does seem to be a little staged but if you can get past the synthetic atmosphere then you will have good food... More

Had heard of this place but never tried it so we headed down on Saturday night. More of a restaurant than a pub but full of character. There wasn't a lot of room at our table or any others for that matter but menu offered plenty of choice for all tastes. One of us had a 12oz fillet steak which... More

We have eaten many times in Fitzpatrick's and have never had a bad meal. The service is excellent. The fish dishes are always good, and you get vegetables with your main. If you do not like the range of vegetables then tell them and they will do something else. We would recommend it.

Booked table for 8.30 on a thursday evening, the resturant was full and so we were given seats at the bar, untill our table was ready which gave us enough time to order drinks before we were seated. we ordered the set meal at 27.50 euro approx £20.00 each, outstanding value for a four course meal, which included an 8oz... My wife and I decided to head to Fitzpatricks after church for Sunday Dinner and boys we were glad we did. Great entrance and plenty to see if you enjoy things from the past. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I had the pork and my wife had the lamb. Cooked perfectly and was even offered more at no... More
