This restaurant is set in beautiful surroundings. The menu has a good choice of dishes, I had medallions of steak-superb and the brown bread given when first seated is lovely.

Family lunch, midweek. Good fun looking at all the memorabilia. Busy but not packed, it was about 2.15 when we arrived. Greeted pleasantly and promptly shown to table but then we had to wait for quite a while before orders taken. Excellent chowder and French onion soup. Well presented sandwiches, all washed down with a very good draught Guinness. Unfortunately... More

Fitzpatrick's Pub You don't have to go to Fitzpatrick's to eat or drink, you just go to look at the pub to walk down memory lane of historic things, like old carts, bicycles, cars, pots, pans, copper, biscuit tins, ration books, cook books, chamber pots and many other 'old things', too many to mention. It is all mesmerising, beautiful and... More

We had an enjoyable evening, the food is excellent, my only criticism, is the initial service, in that although we had booked in advance, we had to stand for a about 10 minutes, while waitresses totally ignored us. Eventually we were seated when we approached the person at the till. However, the rest of the evening was pleasurable.

I had written a previous review about the price of my bacon, chips and beans, I am pleased to say after the owner spoke to me the issue has been resolved! He apologised for the mistake and was extremely nice on the phone and kindly sent me a voucher. After a bit of banter on the phone I came away... More

This place is fantastic. I was part of a large group celebrating a special occasion. The staff could not have done any more to make us feel welcome or accommodate us. The food and service was excellent. The menu has so much to choose from even the children's menu and desserts were fab. If I lived close to fitzpatricks it... More

A large group of us visited for a 70th birthday celebration. Each and everyone of us thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it from the great food and wonderful atmosphere and very pleasant staff.
