My all time favourite restaurant. The warm friendly atmosphere paired with the beautiful ambiance the spectacular food and amazing wine list is simply divine. Seek it out and I can guarantee you will become a regular!!! This is a jewel, not to be missed. I actually live in London and flew to have my 30th birthday party in this very... More

My fiancé and I spent a most pleasant evening recently at Number 32 in Dundalk. In fact, we had spent the previous days in London and eaten in many restaurants of reputed quality but to be honest, none of these matched the standard we enjoyed on our evening dining in Number 32. The staff were excellent throughout; very attentive, natural... More

What a lovely surprise! It can be difficult to eat out with pre-teen kids, however, this isn't the case at Number 32. We were made to feel so welcome and the children simply loved it (a first from them) so much so that my 10 year old son applied for a job. ... and the food was great; or as... More

This is a small restaurant in the middle of 'old' Dundalk. I have eaten there several times. I prefer to sit upstairs as the views can be better. It has a nice atmosphere. Food is generally very good, although my sister was not impressed at all by her dessert the last time we were there. Price is middle of the... More

On a return trip north from the ferry we stopped in after an internet search. What a very pleasant surprise.....superb food, great wine selection and lovely staff. A great wee pick-me-up after saying bye to our daughter. Would love to keep a great secret but can't. We really recommend a visit or several. As the big man said...."I'll be back".......have... More

Visiting Dundalk for business, we are one British and one Vietnamese person both based in Vietnam and well travelled. We were invited by our Irish colleague to No 32 and I have to say I totally concur with all the other reviewers giving it 5 stars. Staff were helpful, friendly and very welcoming and the food was sublime. Fresh mussels,... More

We visited Number 32 midweek, serenaded by a jazz duo which really set the scene and vibe for the night. The selection of starters and main courses were both equally as enticing and difficult to choose from. The food was outstanding, definitely a cut about the rest in the area. Portion sizes were perfect and on this visit, nothing was... More

We wanted to organise a special dinner for 14 to mark my boss's retirement. We asked 'shopped' around and decided that the options and ambience at Number 32 would mark the occasion appropriately. We were not wrong! The set menus were headed with 'Happy Retirement'. The options suited our specific dietary requirements perfectly. The portion sizes were more than generous.... More

Visiting friends in Dundalk and first time at No 32. What a fantastic dining experience- Fresh, local ingredients- Seared scallops, Garlicky Hake & mussel crumble, poached sea trout with lobster bisque sauce was delish. Save room for dessert because i had to try two! Great atmosphere with live jazz music. Really nice wine selection... we were very happy and can't... More
