Went on 12th September as a group from different European countries. We all agreed the food was awful. even the people who actually got what they ordered! Service was okay but the food caused a few upset stomachs within our party. Would not recommend under any circumstances.

Visited here September without checking reviews.... My first impression was not good, lots of flies and no light in the toliets. Rather than leave there and then, we stupidly remained and ordered two sandwiches and tea. The order was taken by a man wearing a filthy shirt who then stood staring at us for several minutes which was really uncomfortable... More

Ordered a homemade burger, absolutely terrible the whole outside burnt. The owner asked if meal ok and I told him that the burger was burnt, he offered to get another but why would you try another burnt one. What chef would produce burnt food have they no pride in what they serve up. Ruined the whole meal. But should have... More

Decided to stop for a evening meal. Not sure of the ambiance, dark and dull. Pianist playing classical music but not anything recognisable. Steaks arrive look like Dobbin. Not sure.

We had a pint here and looked at the menu, food looked alrite from what we saw of people eating outside, and the pint was fine but we chose not eat here as the woman of the house was just rude. My husband asked her a simple question about the type of cider we might have and she barely deigned... More

My boyfriend and I, unlike many other reviewers unfortunately did not look up the reviews before going here. After sitting down and ordering our food I noticed flies everywhere not a great start then our food arrived I got a vegetarian curry and my boyfriend got a burger. If I had to describe the food in one word it would... More

We called to this restaurant having come from the beautiful kenmare...bad mistake.. we were encouraged in the door by the owner and shown to a seat where he then told us that the fish of the day was plaice and it was the special of the day...ok so we ordered one each as he said it was flying out the... Worst restaurant experience that I have ever had. Ordered Cajun chicken with rice. What arrived was tough chicken in a brown sauce of unknown origin on soggy rice.

We arrived into Glengarriff famished after a long drive around the Beara. We walked the street unsure what we would eat and ended up taking a seat outside the Rainbow Restaurant. After deciding what we'd have, I entered through the restaurant and into the bar where I met a lady to place the order. She was not overly friendly and... More

To be honest I don`t know why anybody would want to eat here as everything we ordered was absolutely DISGUSTING. A health inspector needs to come as this place is well below standards. There were dead flies all over the windowsill and the oil used to cook the food needs to be changed as the Chicken goujons tasted as they... More
