We went for dinner: three adults and a child of 13. The starters, mainly the soup, were fabolous. The main courses: fresh sea-bass and big and tender sirloin, plenty of vegs. The desserts are a class of their own. We didn't have to wait much between dishes. The average was 20€ per head, the wine was per glass. I recommend... More

We arrived about lunch time on our way between Dublin and Galway. The food was wonderful and well priced. What a gem.

Food: Innovative with interesting tastes and flavours. I particularly enjoyed the beetroot risotto. The cab sav from Chile was very nice, though in the wie list it was a 2007, what we got was a 2010. The service was good although the staff could do with some more training to make it a great experience. For this reason, and this... More

On the recommendation of a friend, we went to The Left Bank for a late lunch. Our meals were really wonderful! I ordered a goats cheese and pesto sandwich that was delicious. My fiance had beef fillet that was equally as good. Though the dishes looked basic enough, the quality and freshness of the ingredients and the care with which... More

I had a lovely meal there last week with my boyfriend and the staff made us feel comfortable (not the easiest thing to do on a Monday night in any small town as it was very quiet on the streets). The food was absolutely beautiful and the portion sizes were really generous (so generous in fact that we had to... More

We booked for dinner as we were travelling from Dublin Airport to Galway arriving quite late last Saturday. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant has a nice ambience. We usually eat in Galway when we are in Ireland and thought the prices here were much more reasonable at The Left Bank than in Galway. A very enjoyable visit... More

I used to just love this place! I visited it at least once a week! They have simply refused to change with the market, a value lunch menu for €15 where the portion is absolutely tiny!! I had enough trouble trying to convince the male members of my family to go there with me before! Three courses for €25 is... More

Had lunch based on TripAdvisor reviews.Seven different dishes in addition to the value menu of 15 euro for two courses. Great choice, we had the fish cakes and duck confit. Both excellent. It was full at lunchtime. They offer 22 different wines in the evening by the glass plus a great tapas menu in addition to their evening menu.

Thanks to the tripadvisor app I found this place. Really tasty food with a relaxed friendly atmosphere. If you going to or from Galway make this your food spot halfway. Deserts where particularly good :)
