Great seafood!

We randomly ended up here on the way back to Dublin from Galway and...what a great surprise! We actually had dinner in the pub upstairs, from the same menu obviously. Ate here last night with my husband. The value menu had a good choice. My chicken wings starter was just OK but the pork main course and sticky toffee pudding dessert were excellent. The waiter was very friendly and helpful and though the restaurant was quiet it didn't lack atmosphere.

I booked for 8.30 for my husband , daughter and myself. There was good choice on the menu. There is the option of a Value Menu which is very good value. We had a very enjoyable meal. We were well looked after and I would certainly recommend it

We dropped in without a booking on a Saturday evening and they very kindly managed to squeeze us in. And I'm glad they did the food was excellent and the service exemplary. If we find ourselves in Athlone again we'll definitely make a booking next time!

No problem, the staff were unbelievable friendly and professional, we only ordered main course as not to hold up the table but the whole menu was great the specials very appealing. I had the sea bass (special) and... More

Bit of everything offered. Don't expect too much & you will be pleased. Nice, interesting setting. Overpriced for what it is.
