Reservation taken at short notice, on understanding we would vacate within an hour. Service matched the one hour criteria without been rushed. Fabulous ambiance in a very old building full of nostalgia, excellent food at reasonable price considering the good quality

Great food and a great atmosphere staff very friendly and helpful. A good varied menu and wine list I will definitely return again in the near future and would highly recomment Hatters.

Visited here after looking at reviews on TA as we were staying in Athlone. A really lovely intimate restaurant with very attentive and friendly staff. Very good selection of food and tasted great. Very reasonable for the good quality food

Had a lovely meal here, greek salad to start, Stuffed fillet special for main. Staff helpful and friendly, always checking all is okay. Not the cheapest meal but the taste is worth the cost. There is also a value option for the smaller purse. Would recommend to anyone who fancies a special night out.

Food and service were excellent, fantastic atmosphere even have an open fire!!! Great selection and great value, very good wine list, impressive daily specials also. Only thing is to make sure and ring as soon as you can to get a booking as I believe places fill up fast.

The food is not for me i did not like it how ever the servise was ok pretty high prices for small portions have to say also the atmosphere was ok but still avarege!!!!

Nice menu and good food. The staff was also very nice. We wanted "real" Irish cuisine and Hatters delivered. It was a Friday night so it got relatively crowded, but they fit us in without a reservation.
