Very sorry to hear that you were not happy with the price of your lunch. I think the misunderstanding may have been caused by your lunch being written down as a full irish breakfast which is €8.50. Apologies. More

A nice pub, looks clean, food was nice. Slow service on that day it was busy so understandable. There was no welcome and the owner seemed very business like. I would give an extra star if there was an effort made to be friendly. Great village and area to visit.

Small, typical Irish Pub food bar. Good beer (or course), and the beef stew was pretty good. Also had a nice salmon meal. This is the closest place to where we stayed (Baleensheen House) and had good food with a very funny and engaged wait staff. You can't go wrong with the Irish Arms.

Surprisingly excellent meals in a cozy pub atmosphere. We loved the fresh salmon, which was smoked just a few blocks away in the Burren Smokehouse! Great deserts and friendly service, too. We came back a second time during our visit and had an equally excellent meal and service.

We had a lovely lunch here as we toured Clare. The lady that served us was very friendly as she was with everyone in the bar. The bar is cosy. The food was good and the desert apple pie was v good. When in lisdoonvarna again, I will return.

Our small group of family and friends recently visited the Irish Arms. We are return visitors and stop by when we're in the area. We all loved the chowder. My husband orders it every time. Fish and chips, bangers, toasties and smoked salmon are delicious. If you're looking for a pub atmosphere with good food and friendly staff, this is... More

Three of us had a mid-day lunch here & it was divine. We had soup & a mixed selection of sandwiches with Tea & Coffee. The staff were very polite & attentive. The chat of how we were getting on & if anything could be done to make our trip better was welcomed. The lunch worked out about €11 a... More
