A great place to stop in for lunch

After visiting the Cliffs of Moher we were on our way up to Galway and stopped in here for lunch. The seafood chowder was excellent! We had a great time chatting with Jason (the bartender). If I'm ever in the area again I would definitely stop in.

A dear friend & I headed up to West Clare for the day, we stopped in at The Irish Arms, (my friend had been there many years before), We were greeted with a warm welcome, (the owner was out, a friend was running the pub). We each ordered tea (a bit chilly outside), veggie soup w/ brown bread, & a... More

Was a good pint, great food. Even out of season they just took the order and the food was top class, if in the area again would take a walk down there again, not a problem

With my husband & 2 kids went into the Irish arms as it looked nice & lots of good comments on trip adviser. Was very disappointed with my visit here. Firstly we didn't feel one bit welcome from the offset. Barman/ waiter was very rude and abrupt. He kept pushing my daughter's buggy away from the table preventing her from... More

Friendly, both staff and other customers. Good food, good beer. And it's very clean. Fish and chips are generous, mushy peas are really good, bacon cabbage and potato dinner will keep you going for a long night of beer.

We enjoyed a great evening in this Pub! The food was fantastic, the prices are really ok and it has a nice atmosphere. If you are searching a Pub with a local atmosphere, visit the Irish Arms. All people are very attentive and we do not (!!) felt like tourists ;-)
