Small, typical Irish Pub food bar. Good beer (or course), and the beef stew was pretty good. Also had a nice salmon meal. This is the closest place to where we stayed (Baleensheen House) and had good food with a very funny and engaged wait staff. You can't go wrong with the Irish Arms.

Surprisingly excellent meals in a cozy pub atmosphere. We loved the fresh salmon, which was smoked just a few blocks away in the Burren Smokehouse! Great deserts and friendly service, too. We came back a second time during our visit and had an equally excellent meal and service.

We had a lovely lunch here as we toured Clare. The lady that served us was very friendly as she was with everyone in the bar. The bar is cosy. The food was good and the desert apple pie was v good. When in lisdoonvarna again, I will return.

Our small group of family and friends recently visited the Irish Arms. We are return visitors and stop by when we're in the area. We all loved the chowder. My husband orders it every time. Fish and chips, bangers, toasties and smoked salmon are delicious. If you're looking for a pub atmosphere with good food and friendly staff, this is... More

No frills, nothing fancy but a decent bar and decent craic from the staff. Stephen was very helpful. The guy doing the food orders was very funny

Three of us had a mid-day lunch here & it was divine. We had soup & a mixed selection of sandwiches with Tea & Coffee. The staff were very polite & attentive. The chat of how we were getting on & if anything could be done to make our trip better was welcomed. The lunch worked out about €11 a... More

We hadn't planned to stop here, but we were very glad we did. I love fish & chips (as long as it's made with cod), but I've had some really awful versions of it. The fish & chips here were fantastic. I wish I had some now.

We have eaten in this place on many occasions. It is great value for money, spotlessly clean, family run, and all in all a great place to stop if you are in north clare. Also it is open all year round, when many places only open during high season

We visited this place on my way back to Galway - after half day of motorcycling we were hungry and this place was on our way. Restaurant/pub looks interesting. Its nice decorated and it has nice atmosphere. Staff at the bar was friendly. As usual I ordered the Seafood Chowder - it wasn't bad but it wasn't great neither. There... More
