With my husband & 2 kids went into the Irish arms as it looked nice & lots of good comments on trip adviser. Was very disappointed with my visit here. Firstly we didn't feel one bit welcome from the offset. Barman/ waiter was very rude and abrupt. He kept pushing my daughter's buggy away from the table preventing her from... More

Friendly, both staff and other customers. Good food, good beer. And it's very clean. Fish and chips are generous, mushy peas are really good, bacon cabbage and potato dinner will keep you going for a long night of beer.

Good food & friendly staff. V.pleasant in fairness & a good spot to even call in on your own. Staff were friendly without being in your face. Nice bar.

We enjoyed a great evening in this Pub! The food was fantastic, the prices are really ok and it has a nice atmosphere. If you are searching a Pub with a local atmosphere, visit the Irish Arms. All people are very attentive and we do not (!!) felt like tourists ;-)

Very sorry to hear that you were not happy with the price of your lunch. I think the misunderstanding may have been caused by your lunch being written down as a full irish breakfast which is €8.50. Apologies. More

A nice pub, looks clean, food was nice. Slow service on that day it was busy so understandable. There was no welcome and the owner seemed very business like. I would give an extra star if there was an effort made to be friendly. Great village and area to visit.
