I reluctanly leave this review as I cannot comment on the food...... We booked a table at this restaurant to dine with our friends visiting from California. The restaurant itself was lovely although parking was difficult. In a nutshell the service, from the Chef, not the waitress was appallling. The menu on the night was different to the menu online which... More

We are regular visitors to this part of Ireland (at least twice a year) and have eaten here many times both with and without the children. While the food has always been excellent the service has often left a lot to be desired. To my disgust this year there was a prohibition on bringing children under the age of 12... More

We dined here with our biking group due to a last minute change in schedule. The food was wonderful, and I would recommend it highly. Great fish and lamb.

Myself and my wife stopped in for a midweek dinner, the food was excellent, very high quality pub grub. There were some issues with the attitude of the service, our waitress was quite sullen and unfriendly, though some of the others in the bar seemed nice. I also called up earlier that day to try and make a reservation and... More

We visited early on Sunday evening after a bracing walk at Lahinch.we had the Smoked haddock risotto and Duck ham salad for starters ,both were excellent,Neck of lamb and fish and chips with a fab pea purée were also great. Our desserts were a cheese platter which was the only average course of the evening and a grilled pineapple concoction... More

Arrived at the Wild Honey inn for dinner in the pouring rain. We could see plenty of free tables but were told that we could not have a table as we didn't have a reservation. I had rang earlier that evening to find out what time dinner was being served until and was not advised at the time that a... More
