We go to WHI on a regular basis and it never disappoints. Kate and Aidan must be the hardest working couple in the land, they are always there, and despite the volume of people they must see daily they are always smiling. Kate is just a wonderful host, and to compliment this Aidan serves some of the most innovative bistro... More

Out of about 7 tables, we were one of the first in for dinner and all of the other tables came in after us and were served before us. On top of the bad service, the food was mediocre at best and the most expensive while we were in Ireland. If you are a woman and just finished 6 months... More

Although this pub came recommend, we were not impressed. We got there and the place was empty. It still took 1.45 minutes to get the food and the order was wrong. They served the salad after the meal at 2.15 hours. The food was very rich compared to the other pubs. My dinner was swimming in olive oil. I would... More

Just back after a 2 night stay' all I can say is that I can;t wait to go back. Had dinner on both nights and as always it was brilliant. There was 3 of us in the party and we had trouble trying to pick faults in our choices. Over 2 nights there was no repeats. The joy of eating... More

My friends and I were planning to go to wild honey inn for quite some time, after hearing great reviews about the place and hearing that it has a bib gourmand. We ate here yesterday and it was possibly the best meal I have ever had! I have eaten in a lot of Michelin star restaurants, and wild honey inn... More

Well where do I start. We had heard many good tales about this restaurant and were really looking forward to eating here. The menu was extremely disappointing, basically a choice of fish, fish or steak. My partner ordered the smoked salmon starter, which after a wait of 30 minutes finally arrived. In that time we were neither asked did we... More

The wils Honey Inn has received a fair amount of publicity as participants in a feature programme on the national Irish TV channel. We were 5 hungry guests turning up relatively early on the evening of a week day but was seated immidiately in a nice corner of the bar. The nenu is supplemented with a number of specials of... More

Having phoned this restaurant to try and book a table only to be told we dont take bookings.only from residents. We then enquired as to the possibility of getting a table we were told that we might not get a table. It was explained to the girl on the phone that we would have to get a taxi from where... More

It's all about the food. We were constantly amazed at the layers to each course. Some selections were on par with French Laundry which further added to our amazement that this outpost in the matchmaking capital of Ireland could deliver with a level of craftsmanship that almost made us giddy! Decent wine selection, friendly service and a somewhat incongrous atmosphere... More

Didn't stay overnight, so can't comment on accommodation. Superb food, lovely atmosphere and dining room - definitely recommended for a special meal!
