Great breakfast

My partner and I stopped in Thomastown on our way to Gowran Park racecourse. We were made welcome as soon as we walked in. We both chose the scrambled eggs which came with bacon, sausage and toast or soda bread and a choice of tea or coffee. The food was well presented and tasty and I highly... read more

Very nice café with delicious homemade pastries. But one can also order a salad or sandwich. The stuff is friendly and helpful for tourist information:)

Called in for refreshment after a long walk and very much enjoyed the tea and cake. The cafe is not large (I think there were only five or six tables) so it can easily get crowded. Service is pleasant and friendly and the menu appeared quite good for those wanting something more substantial. Prices (compared to larger towns) were very... More

I really loved this spot--very friendly people and I had a panini (hot ham/tomatoe/onion/cheese sandwich) which was great--Would recommend without reservation except that my wife got sick after having their soup for lunch.

This cafe has a lot of character in heart of thomastown, staff was kind and welcoming. We visited blackberry a couple of times for a light breakfast and were not disappointed, only thing I would have preferred is to have scrambled eggs cooked a bit more, too much liquid/moisture left in them for me. Coffee here was really good too.... More

My wife and I visited this nice little cafe in Thomastown on a recent holiday. It is located on the main street in town and there is plenty of street activity for your viewing pleasure if you are fortunate enough to grab a window seat. The dogs that wander the streets in this town are a joy to behold and... More

Looked great from outside with loads of awards so, thought I was in for a treat. Sat down with my two friends only to be "greeted" by a grump/waitress! I wondered how people like this can get and keep jobs when so many others would love to do her job! Felt like walking out at this stage but thought We... More

Stopped into The Blackberry Cafe in Thomastown for a bite of lunch along with my husband and sister. Found the staff very friendly and helpful and our lunch was excellent. All homemade, fresh and very, very tasty - only fault was instead of multigrain bread for one of the sandwiches my sister was given white bread. Not one to complain,... More
