Whenever we're in Baltimore we pop in to the 'Jolie' for a pizza, we love the location right in the heart of the action and the views of all the boats in the harbour. Super tasty pizzas with lovely crisp bases, our favourites are the Sherkin with yummy chorizo and an egg or the Baltimore which has smoke salmon and... More

We had a bit of time to kill before the ferry to Sherkin so popped in for a quick lunch with the kids. Immediately after sitting down we began to see problems. The floor was filthy around our table, the table sticky. I counted 5 waitresses who spent most of the time chatting and generally having a great time behind... More

Our group of five stopped for lunch with two ordering pizza that was disappointing. The fish was very good, not great but very good non-the-less. The service left a lot to be desired. The waitress that started took our order suddenly disappeared. The next waitress was fine, but hard to find. We picked this spot because they advertised "fresh oysters"... More

La Joliet Brise is always very busy. You can eat indoors or outdoors. In good weather outdoors is best. Great view out over the harbour. Best is the menu. Fantastic pizzas but the fresh tuna steaks are the business. Chicken, prawns, mussels and full Irish are all very good value. Wine is reasonable too (or is the sun getting to... More

The food was mediocre - bland pizzas, overcooked fish and a salad drowned in dressing and white onions. Staff were unhelpful and bored. The price was ludicrous for a meal for four. Avoid.

We waited 40 mins for takeaway pizza. Staff (female) were very rude and seemed to have been v stressed and unhappy in their roles. Pizza was not great. Management need to step in and act fast in order to save this business.

Visited this restaurant today and was very unimpressed with both the serving staff and food. Waitress unsure of fish of the day, her exact answer was " I think hake or cod" The salad was basic to be quite frank and overpriced. While Baltimore is a beautiful tourist spot, it's understandable how La Jolie Brise is ranked 6 out of... More

I've visited La Jolie Brise several times in the past and have never been hugely impressed. Today was no different. Because a member of our group fancied pizza, we decided to eat here again. It'll be my last time. Delay taking our order....wrong order...omissions from our order,...disinterested staff...unimaginative salads...overpriced food....foul smelling ladies toilet. Need I go on? Very disappointed. It's... More

A relaxed pub atmosphere with good food, good service, and great music, especially during the Fiddle Fair

Had a quick bite here recently and the menu is quite limited but the food it good. I went for the Mussels and Chips.....Thats it Mussels and Chips no dressing or salad. I will say the mussels were good and tasty. the rest of the party had fish and chips and steak and they were satisfied with what they had,... More
