Best meal in Cobh

My wife and I had a late night dinner here and we are very glad that we did. We both had the open face prawn sandwich. My wife described her Neal as the best she had in our 4 week stay in Ireland. I also thought that my sandwich was very good as was the soup I also had the... read more

Excellent cooking, obviously by an enthusiast. Bar and restaurant menus - former good value and the portions are generous so go hungry. Best venue we found in Cobh so wise to book as seating is limited. This can be done on-line or by phone. Friendly staff.

We were invited to Trade Winds by my brother while visiting Cobh. What a wonderful experience! Outside was covered with the incredible flowers that adorn the town of Cobh in summer. We were made very welcome and had great service. There was a great variety on the menu, the food was very reasonably priced especially from the early bird menu,... More

The Cobh Heritage Center and Tradewinds are well worth the visit! The Heritage Center has a a multitude of information and photographic history of the area. Great food and Bailey's coffees at Tradewinds!!!

Had a delicious bar meal here which was well cooked, well presented and served in good time. The service was great, too - friendly and efficient. I'd definitely return, should I find myself in Cobh.

I love trade winds, beautiful food served in a lovely relaxing setting. It looks small from the outside, but it has a second floor with lots of added seating so don't be fooled

This restaurant came highly recommended by my hotel's staff. I'm a food lover, and appreciate elegant dishes made with simple, local ingredients. The menu at Trade Winds was promising. I arrived early for my reservation and enjoyed a stout in the pub before I was seated. For a starter, I ordered the black pudding (almost unobtainable in the United States)... More

We'd been out to Spike Island for the day and came back starving. As we were going out for dinner later we said we'd get a couple of starters. We got 3. Well oh my god they were not only large portions but they tasted fantastic! We'd garlic mushrooms, nachos and potato skins. Fab place and lovely staff.

We happened on this restaurant by chance and were lucky enough to get the last free table. The food was really good - all freshly cooked and nicely served. Vegetables came with all the main courses. The staff were very friendly and very efficient. The pricing was fair and we considered it good value for money. The location is perfect... More
