Great food, great service!

I came here for a dinner with my girlfriend. Upon arrival we were greeted by a warm and friendly atmosphere in the bar area, before we were shown upstairs to our table. We were seated next to the window, which provided us with beautiful views of the town. The staff were extremely friendly, and... read more

A very discreet little bar/restaurant on the seafront this is a real gem. Food to die for combined with great service is not to be missed.

Nice establishment set in centre of cobh. Pleasent and friendly staff. Fish and chips were fantastic and only complaint was inconsistent service .

I got spicy Cajun sandwich , was tasty, my boyfriend got an open plain chicken sandwich on brown bread- was only ok- but in my opinion a plain chicken sandwich is a plain chicken sandwich! Everything was fine apart from the fact it took 35 min to get two sandwiches- side salad no chips. No complaints about food but they... More

Called in on the spur of the moment recently and was glad that we did. Extremely friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. We visited on a day of memorial celebrations to mark the sinking of the Lusitania 100 years ago and so everywhere, including the Trade Winds, was very busy. We ordered drinks and two meals from the... More

Out of all the places to eat in Cobh, Trade Winds would be the place I would recommend to anyone. I have visted the restaurant on many occasions with family, partner and friends and always feel very welcome by the staff. A window seat is a perfect setting for a romantic meal. The variety on the menu is fantastic especially... More

We visited this great restaurant once again last night for a family meal. The staff once again were very friendly. The meals we had were all prepared and presented in a highly professional manner. The quality of the food was top class. Overall an excellent experience once again!

I couldn't recommend this restaurant more. I have been here on numerous occasions and it gets better each time. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating and the food is to die for. I'd recommend Brie cheese, garlic mushrooms and Brussells Patè for starter and the fillet steak for main is melt in your mouth. Dishes to suit everyone. Very... More

I spent a very pleasant afternoon yesterday sitting outside the Trade Winds with a retired New York couple who had come off the Queen Victoria Cruise Liner having a few glasses of wine. The blonde lady serving us was very pleasant & the New York couple were very impressed with her. They said to me if we had a restaurant... More
