Nice outside seating to enjoy a drink and watch the world go by.

After our visit to Spike Island we returned to Cobh and found this little gem near the Commodore Hotel,at first we thought they would not be able to accommodate our group of 27 but they also have an up stairs dining area, fast service from very friendly staff ,and 27 men well fed. Will return here with my wife for some quite... We chose to have an early evening meal here. The place was nearly empty. Sitting by the windows with a view of the harbor was quite nice. Cloth napkins. Mine had a rather large burn hole in it. Service was slow especially since there were only a few dinners. Our suppers were uncomplicated choices and tasty. Average value for the... More

We understand that we are eating in Europe, and meals are meant to be savored and served with leisure, however, people who arrived AFTER us were finished wih their food well before ours arrived. The wait staff were very friendly, and very busy, with a very large group as well as all the other tables being full.. and it appeared... More

Not overly inspiring from the outside . The restaurant upstairs is fine and the tables in the window have nice views. The service was good and they didn't hurry you out. A varied menu and the food was excellent. We had the smoked salmon and warm goats cheese to start then the steaks which were cooked perfectly. The dessert wa... More

Went here on a recommendation. Don't let the place fool you when you first walk in, they have an upstairs dinning room. I had the bangers and mash which were very good especially with a pint of Murphy's. The better half had a huge baked potato and salad. We both had desserts as well with coffee and everything was excellent.... More

What can I say, fabulous food, great menus both in the ground floor bar (where the Titanic cocktail was created on 100th anniversary) and in the upstairs Restaurant. Totally class venue with great and attentive staff. Day or night to be totally recommended. Great fresh fish specialities and wines to match ... Or Murphys in your left hand and Middleton... More

We arrive with a group of 33 people, and they were willing to accommodate us all. Good was really good for the price, and the service was excellent.

Thought the menu was just ok. Pricey for this town. The place itself is a little dated. Service was ok. Food was good. Considered one of the nicer places in Cobh

Had a drink downstairs in the cute waiting area and a window table with gorgeous views over the bay. Really friendly helpful staff. Food was fab! Hubby had garlic prawns, as a starter they were big juicy and tasty, served with warm crusty bread, as a result he struggled to eat his steak, which was lovely. Oh what a dilemma!... More
