The Trade Winds is very pleasant, and I didn't find one thing wrong there. The restaurant is upstairs, although you may eat in the small bar if you wish. Restaurant is beautifully laid out, staff are very smartly attired, speak perfect English, and are most helpful. I had pate for starter and steak afterwards. Meal was absolutely lovely, and hey... We were seated at the window looking over the harbour. The food was excellent and generous portions too which left us no room for dessert!

If you are going to be eating in the evening in Cobh, this is the place to eat. Get reservations however. We ate here 3 times all in the bar area and had a great time with great food and good Guiness. Tom was our waiter all 3 times and we really enjoyed him and his service.

We regularly visit this wonderful restaurant. It has always been a great experience. The food is excellent, the setting is right in the heart of the town of Cobb on the sea front and the staff are friendly and efficient. Highly recommended especially the "Stuffed Fillet Cobh".

The website should have been a give away, poor spelling an poor quality pictures. Went for something to eat on Saturday May 31st, there was something on in the park across the road so was very busy, staff were not able to cope with the level of customers, restaurant is very dull and dark and staff were very stressed. Food... More

Ate there the other night and it was fairly average to say the least. I was being taken out so I didn't want to say anything and cause a disturbance. When I eventually asked how much the bill was I was GOB-SMACKED, totally overpriced. Stay away.

This was recommended to us by Pam from Knockeven House and she was spot on with her recommendation. The food was great and the service was excellent. Very friendly staff. Would eat here again.

This was great value for money. The menu was extensive and the food was plentiful. We had the full three course early bird special long after the early bird hour had passed. The wait staff were really friendly and the chef did a superb job with each course. We would recommend this restaurant as good value for money and its... More

Lovely small restaurant, tables are nicely spaced out. Staff were very friendly and didn't rush any of the courses. Prawns to start in a garlic butter were amazing couldn't get over the portion was enough to share!
