This was a lovely upstairs restaurant that is ideal for families. It was very well priced and the staff were very friendly. It looks out over the harbour and is right in the heart of town. Lovely food, great atmosphere.

We had a wonderful dinner in the downstairs bar area. We had the fried brie, bangers & mash, tomato & bacon pasta. The dinner portions were huge. I couldnt even come close to eating all of my dinner. Nice atmosphere. Cozy & quaint. A bit chilly, but other than that wonderful! Great price as well.

When you order in Ireland lamb shank and it is cold and dry - this is the sing for bad food in such a restaurant. I got pate for appetizer - to salty and to fat. Dishes were looking like from microwave. Wine was OK, but no French wine was available - only wines from South America.

Nice restaurant located in centre of town. It's a bit dated and old world but comfortable. Fish was fresh but steak was overcooked and sides were basic mash and cold vegetables. Service was very good.

Very good value for money, and very accommodating as we went there on the off chance of getting food after 9pm. We got the food, but not the drinks we ordered.

Dined here a few years ago and the food is just as excellent as then. The menu offers a good varied choice is perfectly cooked, plenty of it and hot. Staff very friendly and attentive. All in all a lovely restaurant to share our Uncles 70th birthday they even made him a cake.

Very tasty sea bass the evening we went. Huge ice creams. Next day they happily took in our party of 11 for lunch , unannounced, after we found another place not open

i have never come away from Trade Winds restaurant not feeling satisfied. The food is consistently good with a good menu. The steak the Royal Cut is to die for,I would highly recommend it.The starters are a meal in themselves especially lambs liver. One of the best restaurants around and #1 in Cobh.
