We drove into Cobh late in the evening, and decided to have a late dinner here. I was a bit concerned based on previous reviewers about the service. There was only one waiter working, and although service may have been a bit slow, it was very friendly and efficient. The food was delicious, creative and fresh. The kids meal of... More

Just read the review of Trade Winds Cobh for 20 Oct this year. I'm wondering were they in the same restaurant as I was ? I have yet to have a bad meal here. In my business I'm regularly asked for a dining out recommendation and this is it. Superb food, large portions and excellent staff. And do book to... More

I was there for a meal on a midweek break. The food was really nice and the waitress was a lovely woman who was nothing but nice and very friendly. I highly recommend visiting here

Tried booking Gilberts but booked out totally so they recommended Harbour Browns & Trade Winds. Looked at 'early bird' option in Harbour Browns which didn't impress so went to Trade Winds. Lovely upstairs restaurant in a period room. Choose bar menu which was good value and food was reasonable. Service a bit slow.

Had a great meal in trade winds last night. I had the fantastic scampi, very fresh, tasty and loads of them. Service was excellent. Would highly recommend Trade Winds for your next visit to Cobh.

I was looking forward to eating in this restaurant having read some of the reviews on the site. However, sadly it did not live up to its billing. The food was badly presented. My chowder arrived with a skin on it - just out of the microwave?? The place was certainly very busy and the staff pleasant. I ordered scallops... More

Judging by the locals filling the place, this is the best dining in the town. Make a reservation or you'll miss out, especially on a weekend.

We entered this tiny little bar anxious to try some Irish Pub food and were pleasantly surprised at not only the atmosphere but the service and the food. We ordered chicken wings and shrimp and never had them dished so elegantly. They were listed as appetizers on the menu and were so full no need for a entre. We did... More

food was great quality and the value was amazing at less than 30E for dinner. only problem was everything took so long because i think they were a bit stretched for resources (staff). not an issue for me but a concern to a few patrons was they had no credit card facilities that evening and didn't tell people till after...
