Great location, great food!

The food here is excellent. The Fish and Chips are a must. Mine was excellent, generous portion and perfectly cooked, accompanied by a lovely side salad and fries. Try the Fire Fries here also. Had a glass of wine and a quick bite to eat in the quays bar on a sunny day. The place was packed but we managed to grab a seat on one of the lovely benches overlooking the waterfront. Service was good despite the entire restaurant being full, we were greeted by friendly waitresses and only waited 15-20 minutes max... More

We were looking for a restaurant where we could eat dinner and watch The Open, and we found that at The Quays. They could not have been nicer to us. There was a big crowd in the bar but they helped find us a place where we could dine and also watch the golf. Our group had Fish and Chips... More

Me and my boyfriend once again went to this in my eyes BEST restaurant in Cobh! We have already been there a couple of weeks ago and had to come back as we were so impressed with the service and food we have received the last time. And once again we weren’t disappointed. We had Fish and Chips and a... More

During my study abroad program we took a day trip to Cobh, where we dined at Quays. The food was delicious (open-faced chicken sandwich) and the view was lovely. Our servers were attentive and funny, and made our experience even more pleasant. Overall great time!

The view at Quays was outstanding but I was a little disappointed in the two meals we ate there. I really liked the beef and prawn salad but I was not as happy with the beef burger that I ordered. After reading the reviews I expected better. The service was very attentive and professional though. All in all I rated... More

An absolutely stunning view of the harbour and passing liners, tugs and assorted shipping. However in spite of friendly staff and the view the quality of the food was rather sub standard.

I've visited to Cobh more than once. The first time there, I wanted to visit Quays Bar and Restaurant because from the outside it looked so quaint! It is right on the water. It has beautiful outdoor seating with great views. Because of time, I wasn't able to visit the first time. However, I came back to Cobh recently and... More

Had lunch with the family the other day. There is a serious lack of beer and wine choices. No craft beers at all just the usual suspects on draught. They have a beautiful deck out the back alongside the bay so you can watch the boats go by really lovely. Ordered chicken a bacon salad, no bacon in it!? When... More

We ate outside, and the weather was not so good. The restaurant overlooks the bay and adds terrific ambiance. Since it is located in the heart of Cobh, it is an easy walk to explore the streets and nearby St. Colman's Cathedral. The food was not bad, but no better than average. When you travel to Ireland, you expect a... More
