Mother's Day made special

My family and I visited Arundels by the Pier last Sunday for Mother's Day. On arrival we were immediately greeted by the manager Liam (a nice touch considering it was extremely busy). We shared a drink with the locals in the bar before Eilis led us upstairs for our meal. The setting of this... read more

Happened to be passing Ardunels on Sunday last and decided to stop for lunch. On entry the manager seem to think I was with a party upstairs but informed him I was on my own and would like a table for lunch. This very nice man was very pleasant and helpful and presented me with a board of specials etc.... More

it was a dismal misty winter's afternoon in January when we came across Arundels. It is situated right beside a small pier with a few fishing boats moored to it. To our surprise, when we went in, it was full with a queue, not what we expected at this time of year. There is a small bar at one side... More

On a warm day, we stopped for fish & chips and a Guinness. We were well received, and the food came promptly. Great F & C with good views over a small harbour.

We ate at Arundels twice in the last week whilst spending Christmas on the Sheeps Head Peninsula. First visit was in the restaurant where the service and food were both excellent. Make sure you're hungry before ordering the fish & chips! Home made ice creams that we had for dessert were lovely. We popped into the bar for a drink... More

Following an unsatisfactory experience in August (when we left hungry after waiting for half an hour for someone to take our order) we decided to give Arundels a second chance recently when they had an evening seafood special event. It proved an inspired decision as the meal was fantastic with a great selection and food was superbly cooked and presented.... More

We ate here recently celebrating our anniversary. We had a great night. The food as always was absolutely delicious and without fault. Served beautifully and plentifully!! Our only regret as usual was we were unable to manage a dessert-may be next time, We have eaten here many times over recent years but this is the first time I have reviewed... More

Stopped here for lunch and was really pleasently surprised. The food was very tasty and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The tables outside by the quay provided a wonderful setting, it is an extremely beautiful place.
