This was our third visit to this restaurant. Went twice last year as we spent a week on Sheeps Head peninsula so fairly close to us. One good experience and one bad. We went again for the playground and chalk board this year for our daughter. Same bad experience again with my fish order. Had Seabass and it was disappointing... More

The food and the location good. The service was reasonably good. Some of the food it a bit pricey but the children's menu is good value to be fair. I was given a bill and went to pay it but then the man at the bar (owner?) presented me with another bill which was a few euro more expensive. After... More

A nice little bar in a lovely location. They serve food in the early evening and were very busy when we arrived, and so there was a bit of a feeling of stress in the air. They have a few seafood dishes on their small menu, and we went for the battered fish, chips and peas. The fish was very... More

The restaurant is located in a fantastic spot with lovely views. The food is really good, we had chowder and mussels and they were extremely good. The service was really slow, we had to go inside to get our menus and later to order our meals and to get more cutlery and water that was forgotten. After several attempts to... More

Had a lovely meal at Arundels Bar and Restaurant Saturday 15th August. We had no booking and considering they were busy they accomadated us. Our Table was booked for an hour later by another customer, which gave us time to enjoy our meal which was delicious. Thanks to the staff and Management. Rose Odonovan [Rose Cottage]

Had heard this was the place to go when in Ahakista but was disappointed by the quality of the food (especially as it is expensive). We spent €80 for two (without wine), for what was mediocre food. We ate in the resteraunt - perhaps the bar is better value?

Average food, overpriced. Location excellent, however tables in the bar area a little overcrowded. The young girls waiting on the tables were local to the area and very courteous in their dealings with us.
