We stayed in the hotel but their restaurant was closed when we arrived so we had a meal in the bar. The food and drinks were good basic pub food. Nothing fancy, but still nice. The service was good, it was quite busy. We had a window seat looking over the water and the Carnival Ferris wheel, which was lit... More

Just had soup and sandwiches - simple but nice. Another time - also there with work - had fish and chips and finger food, lovely and nicely presented also. Staff are friendly

live entertainment on a Saturday night was very good, the staff are very attentive and not badly priced for drinks and food is also served here, very nice.

The décor is very nice and the live entertainment wonderful! The staff could be a little more attentive and friendlier. We were there for 10 days and they seemed to not remember us at all.

I like having food in the maritime bar. I've never been disappointed. The starter chowder portions are a bit large so I'm not able to enjoy my main but staff is always very friendly and accommodating. It's a great spot to have drinks and food when out.

Although the bar does serve pub food, there is a small bar down a few steps, and it was a fun spot to have a drink with friends before dinner. Features rock music later.

Menu seemed good with something for everyone but we were disappointed with the quality of the food. It was edible but not what we were expecting.

I have to say that we find the atmosphere here very friendly and relaxing. Whether you drop in for lunch and a pint, or drop in later in the evening. The service and food are always top quality. For anyone looking for a tip re lunch, try the fiver Friday or anything from the bar menu at any other time.Thanks... More

we ate here recently, and as most of the tables were taken we had a table close to the door thats the smoking area, and people were going in and out and forgetting to close it. The food was fab, and would loved to have tried any of their cocktails, the list looked divine!
