"Come in out of the rain"

Most welcoming staff on a rainy evening. Very friendly, good service. As we were leaving, when we mentioned that we would like to hear some music, the waitress went outside to the neighbouring pub to find out if there was music that night. Very kind of her. Nice atmosphere at this café.

very average and poor restaurant. staff not very attentive. cakes and pastries on display very dry and old. Food overpriced. I must give a miniscule amount of credit for the bacon topping on my burger - it was smoked and crispy. It is very hard to find good crispy, smoked bacon at restaurants in Ireland. At least I got this... More

Located in the heart of bantry this cafe is always a pleasant experience. It's a great venue to sip a coffee and people watch. Delicious veg soup always on offer.

My son and I visited this so-called restaurant and I asked the waitress about the fish…..was it in breadcrumbs or in batter? She said it is in breadcrumbs but that another fish option was available on the day’s ‘special’ menu: Deep fried haddock with tartar sauce. She said with great emphasis ‘it really is delicious’ and as my preference is... More

Ordered 2 soup for lunch with my friend, in Ireland its a given that you get soda bread with soup as well as saying it on the menu. Just before our food came out, we were told no soda bread but white sliced bread was available. I decided to cancel my order. My friend got his and five minutes later... More

The food here is excellent for the price and you can't beat the location. Friendly staff, clean and welcoming. Try it for breakfast or lunch or both!
