Was visiting family and we went here for food. I loved the selection - roast beef, Turkey and ham etc etc - a great choice of food. The food was lovely-and plenty of it there. I also loved the jug of water and diluted juice - a nice touch. However to improve they should think about their organisation. Food/cutlery/glasses were... More

We had a wonderful meal in The Waterfront Bar last weekend. We wondered in after a busy day exploring beautiful Bantry and it was a perfect end to our day. We were looking for something fast and reasonably priced and that is exactly what we got in the Waterfront. There were 5 of us (2 adult and 3 children) and... More

This fabulous restaurant is located on the main (Wolfe Tone) square in Bantry town. It does not look big from the outside but when you enter, you a greeted with a very cozy yet modern atmosphere. The staff are extremely nice and always running around making sure you are alright. The choice of food is great and is very well... More

Television screens rather dominate this restaurant. Ther service is good, and we enjoyed the sea bass we ordered. However, the vegetables were fairly stodgey and unimaginative.

They gave us a set menu with whatever we wanted on it and it did not disappoint. DELICIOUS! There was plenty of it and every plate went back clear. Our party of people had it all -... More

You would expect a coastal town like Bantry to be renowned for its seafood. Don't expect it here. Thought I might have chowder for a starter but it wasn't on the menu. So I ordered the seafood platter at €15. The seafood covered about 1/4 of the plate. The rest was taken up by pasta, grated carrot, coleslaw, salad, and... More
