This is a small bar / Restaurant. Staff are warm welcoming and attentive. The place is tight enough and though not extraordinarily busy we found ourselves sitting at the bar, which to be fair was no great inconvenience . The food overall is very good. We shared a plate of twelve stuffed mussels to start. They were delicious but somewhat... More

We dined at 'The Snug' on the recommendation of friends who live locally in Kilcrohane during our recent stay in West Cork. The welcome we received was really friendly, the atmosphere cosy, the service excellent and the food simple but delicious. The steak is excellent (in fact we ate here three times during our stay and the quality was consistently... More

We had an amazing meal here this week. The food was top class and the best we have tasted in ages. The ambience is wonderful and we had the pleasure of meeting the chef Ian who was so welcoming and friendly. If you are in Bantry you NEED to eat here. Thank you all, we will be back!

Lovely place, friendly people and fantastic food. What else can we say. We ate there twice on wednesday, once for busy lunch and we came back in the evening. Both times we left satisfited. Fish and rib eye were absolutely perfect . Staff is very friendly and happy to be there. But don't always expect a seat as most other... More
