Cozy little Pub with superb food

Went there with my Mum and two kids for a quick snack. The soup and seafood chowder were delicious. My eldest boy who is 10 years old only wanted some garlic bread with cheese, which was loaded with cheese so it was very filling. My little girl, who is 8 years old had the BBQ chicken wings, which... read more

We are still a The Snug two of our three nights whilst staying in Bantry. Great food, reasonably priced and very good service. Only downside is that they do not take bookings, so I peak times the wait for a table may be considerable.

Even though "The Snug" is quite small, the portions of food being served definitively aren't!!! It's also very tasty, so in terms of food all is well. Prices are also reasonable. The interior is also quite cool, so i can recommend the place - if it's packed, wait for a free table with a pint of Guinness or whatsoever. And... More

I love the food here, and have eaten here numerous times. The decor is very cool, the tables and support beams are all massive pieces of wood. The food served ranges from beef, chicken, lamb dinners etc. to fish and burgers. Its always been lovely with great portions!

I visited The Snug twice recently and had a short wait for a table both times as the place was so busy, but it's easy to see why, the food is fantastic! I had the beef lasagna while others had roast dinners, pasta and burgers. All very nice and big portions, you definitely won't leave hungry! The staff are all... More

Stopped by while bicycling in Ireland, we tried the crispy chicken wrap and the rib of beef which were both excellent. The thing that was incredible was the fried mushrooms, the best we had ever had.

Dropped in on spot to see if we could get a table (been before and is quiet small and ALWAYS busy!) Accomodated us straight away- 9 of us! Food is traditional, and worth the wait. I had homemade burgers with chips and salad, so tasty, just what was needed after a long night out the night before! Others favoured Lamb,... More
