Myself and a friend had dinner here and were extremely put off, and will not return. Our duck was over done, hence dry, when we asked for something we had been waiting on, we were made feel as if we irritated the person we asked….not a nice welcome one would expect.

Snug is the word for it. It's a bit dark and cramped, but cheerful. Salmon and monkfish medallions could not have been fresher. Garlic and butter risked overwhelming but the excellent chive mash soaked them up. Not fine dining or exquisite cooking, but satisfying.

The place is small but it was worth the wait to get a table.. The meal was fresh and generous in the size. The meal was very good and we would recommend it to anyone.

I popped in here on the recommendation of the young lady from the Tourist Office. It had rained since I had stepped off the bus from Cork and I really needed a nice hot meal. I had a gorgeous roast chicken dinner - it was beautiful! The chicken was so soft and delicious. It was a beautiful pub, very into... More

This is a nice pub, nice environment. Its a busy little place and they sure give value for money. The staff are very friendly. There is almost too much food presented, I ordered the homemade burger. I recieved two homemade burgers both on a soft bap with bacon n melted cheese. It was huge I could hardly touch the chips.... More

I had tea here the other night. I had the home roast lamb. It came out cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a night out.
