Was in Ma Murphys last night for a few drink and really enjoyed it. Proper old school Irish bar with the best of all that implies. Great selection of craft beers and whiskeys. Really friendly and relaxed service. Had originally planned on just going there for a drink ... (famous last words). When we realised we were welcome to go... More

Tiny little rustic spot in Bantry that was a most welcome stopover for a pint and a chat with locals. Beamish on tap is a plus! Only a few tables and seats at the bar. Lively conversations. Fun, friendly staff.

This pub has it all: front part is authentic old Irish pub where you can always pop in for a pint and a friendly chat. The garden area and mini-nightclub in the back offer younger people live music and a place of their own to meet up. The owners, Bill, Mary and Sean, are people we now regard as friends.

This pub is definately worth a visit. It looks like it has been here since the foundation of Bantry. Locals in the pub are extremely friendly, as are the staff. The pub has an extra room where musicians play most nights, great entertainment.

was recommended this place by locals whom I met in Bristol before flying to Cork. Perfect Traditional Irish bar, the best place in the world as the locals would say.

The highlight of our trip to Ireland was Ma Murphys! This authentic pub should be on everyone's list to visit. We asked for photos and they took us behind the bar. The open mic night was magical. The locals played an amazing selection of instruments and the talent was WOW!. We totally fell in love with this place and highly... More
