A party of six of us (locals) booked the Christmas Dinner menu, mid-December 2014. The table was set with Christmas crackers, but no candle. One of us asked for a choice off the non-festive menu and was told it was not possible (no explanation why). The food was average, but was spoilt by being served on stone cold dinner plates.... I came here on New Year's Eve. The staff were very friendly & the food was tasty albeit slightly on the expensive side One thing I would say is that the toilets were very dirty.

We didn't have a reservation but we were seated straight away, our waitress was very helpful and friendly. The choice of food was excellent. I had the duck and my boyfriend had a pizza, it was the best meal out we had in ages

I had the most beautiful seafood chowder. Definitely the highlight of the meal. Pizza was amazing also. I got the spicy pizza and it was just that. Very pleasant staff, really enjoyed it. Yum!

The Brick Oven is a friendly restaurant serving great food and also excellent pizzas from their wood fired oven. We all had pizzas it was a chilly foggy day and a comforting pizza fitted the bill.the small pizzas are supposed to be 8 inch but were much bigger than that and the large ones 12 inch were also much bigger... I always go to the Brick Oven if I'm in Bantry. The pizzas are divine - never overcooked! Love the wine menu too, especially the merlot. The staff are so friendly and efficient. This place is always busy but they are very good at trying to fit you in if you don't have a booking. Highly recommend this place!
