Lovely

A happy surprise as I was reluctant to eat there initially as I am not a fan of pizzas or Italian food but I found an interesting menu, not just pizzas ;-) We both picked the scallops and were absolutely delicious and so so fresh! The sweet potato chips were also fab and I gorged on the bread and... read more

Despite having the best pizzas in the country, myself and my family have often branched out extensively to the rest of the menu. We've yet to be disappointed. Great food, happy and friendly staff, and lovely owners. From the nice variety of sides(sweet potatoe fries are a personal favourite) to great specials, we've often gone for the duck, which is... We'd pass thru Bantry frequently and always like to have a meal in the Brick Oven if we fancy a good pizza. It's located at the west end of the square and always seems to be a hive of activity... play it safe and book because it's buzzing any time we pass it and does a roaring trade on takeaway... More

Fantastic food, the aromas in the restaurant were mouth watering! I recommend booking early as people were being turned away as so busy, a true testament to the quality of the food in this restaurant!!

Came here for dinner on a very wet night in January. The service was very good and attentive. The food was delicious and fresh. The price was also very reasonable. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for good fresh food in bantry.

Went here based on recommendation of their gluten free pizzas. Unfortunately the experience was let down by a rude & uninformed 'chef' who neither knew nor cared about wheat/gluten intolerances. Nonetheless, the establishment was happy to impose a surcharge for gluten free pizza bases. Coeliacs take note

We stopped of at the brick oven for our third Sunday in a row as we are living in west cork, at first it looked really busy inside but as we got inside we were met by a charming young lady who arranged a table for us 5 in no time at all. Kids had a pizza and we had... More

I have visited the brick oven many times as we live in west cork. They serve fabulous food. I have never had a bad meal here. The staff are wonderful and the service is good as a result. I would recommend having the monkfish & scallop gratin, it is mouth watering, it is quite rich but really delicious. It is... More

After a windy wet day this place just hit the spot. Really friendly staff nothing a problem to them. Great cup size chowder just enough to start and then the most exquisitely cooked fish, salmon with mussels and my husband had monkfish with scallops which was a delight enjoyed with a lovely house white! Perfect
