While i was here I enjoyed the food. However, due to certain dietary requirements I asked the waitress if changes could be made to my dish. She was very obliging, however, the chefs reaction that i heard from the kitchen was appalling! To hear a chef give out when my requirement was due to an allergy really turned me off... More

An amazing small cafe that opens as a restaurant in the eve. The owners are obviously passionate about their food and the menu whilst small more than good! The cakes are worth visiting for alone, you won't find better than here. Try the pecan pie or lemon and polenta cake, yum is not the word. Great lunches and evening meals.... More

Called in here several times during the Christmas rush and it always took my mind off things. The food is healthy and rich. I had chicken and brie on homemade brownbread €6.50 and a cappucino €2.50. The service is very friendly and prompt and the place is always kept spotless. Despite it's small size we were never rushed from our... More

Kalbo's is a really good experience - good food, cosy atmosphere and pleasant staff. There is always good food so it's somewhere you can be sure of. Our family love to meet here. This is a place we go to regularly. They do breakfast and lunch Monday through Saturday and Dinner Friday and Saturday nights - we've had them all.... More

We had a small group lunch here and filled the place nearly up. The staff was efficient, friendly and organized. The food was very good and dessert of a lemon pie particularly delicious. I'd return in a heartbeat. There isn't a lot of space so if you're looking for privacy not the best choice, but otherwise great.

I had the pancakes on morning and they were fabulous. I went back later in the same day for an early dinner! I'd highly recommend

I certainly feel Kalbo's is overrated. The whole business is based on fresh quality products which is really good, but there is no excuse to have pasta overcooked (always!) or have a really nice piece of meat tough. It is like sitting in some friend's kitchenette: small space, tiny tables covered with oil tablecloths, you have to like other people... More
