I had a pork chop with a delicious sauce. It was the best pork I had tasted in a long time. The cooked breakfasts were freshly cooked and there was a wide choice of other foods available as well.

We ate in the Ilen Bar of the West Cork Hotel and we were very happy with our dining experience. They are so busy they probably don't get a chance to do a middle of the day hoover but the place needed one! All the staff we encountered were friendly and efficient. We ordered steaks with our drinks from the... More

Our first night in Skibbereen we started out to dinner and found ourselves at a loss since most restaurants were not taking more guests after 9:00pm. It was recommended that we try the Cork Hotel to see if they were still taking guests. Although it was then well after 9:00pm, the staff was extremely friendly and offered us a table... More

A restaurant to keep going back to for excellent food and service. Long established hotel which keeps on getting better. Family friendly, someting for everyone on the menu. Good ambience.

Spent two nights in the West Cork. Breakfast each morning was outstanding and the service so friendly. The eggs Kennedy was delicious and the portion was huge. I also had the brioche French toast with banana, maple syrup and toasted almonds I would drive to Skibereen just for that! Yum! Dinner was also super. The steak was perfectly cooked and... More

We were a large group, decided to sit on the bridge as it was such a lovely day. The restaurant manager came out to us with menu's and sent out waitress for drinks orders. Took too long after this to get our food orders taken (another half an hour). We had to ask for the marble top tables to be... More

I was recently at the West Cork Hotel for Sunday lunch with my family having being there many times before I was looking forward to it.To say I was disappointed is putting it mildly the food was bland and half cold when I asked for a portion of chips the waitress snapped at me that you will have to wait... Was in Skibbereen over the weekend and decided to eat in the West Cork hotel. What a mistake. It was reasonably busy in there and it took us a while to find a table. We eventually found one in the bar, with no help or even acknowledgement from any staff on duty. We ordered a drink from a very nice... More
