Nice and quick place for a spot of tea and a scone

Nothing posh or pretentious but adequate. Our tea and scone was just right for a stop on the ring of Kerry.

Uhuh. A barista eh? First let me say, they refunded my money. not ALL the money I'd paid for the drink, but 3 Euro of it. The problem? Oh gods, the most disgusting coffee I have drunk anywhere in the entire world. It wasn't just "wersh" (lacking flavour, weak and insipid) it was plain vile. Even now, 2 clementines, 500ml... More

While on a touring holiday our coach driver recommended this place. We couldn't fault the food or the service. The problem began when it came to paying. Mine came to 7 Euros, I gave the man 20 Euros, he gave me 3 Euros change, I challenged him on this and he apologised, I accepted this as a genuine mistake until... More

I just wanted to buy a piece of authentic soda bread. He told me to buy a loaf (not asked me to) and told him I was visiting and would not eat a loaf of bread. We look around a bit and I thought he was being nice by calling me back over and putting together a slice. I thanked... More

Visited here twice during our recent stay in Kerry for a coffee and a snack. On both occasions the service was excellent and the food excellent.

We has a wonderful family week in Sneem and the highlight was the warm, engaging people in the village. Kelly's bakery was a daily stop, either for morning coffee and scones or afternoon tea. Best Wi-Fi in town, complete with visits by Whiskers. Pauline arranged for a delicious chocolate anniversary cake - got two thumbs up from all the chocoholics... More

Recently visited Kelly's Bakery in Sneem for lunch while touring the Ring of Kerry. I hadn't read any of the previous Trip Advisor reviews so I went in purely on spec and on appearance. We had a combination of nice lunches, consisting of rolls, chowder, sandwiches etc. Everything was just as we ordered it and there was no inordinate delay... More
