Stopped for lunch we had Irish stew very good also the fish chowder was some of the best we've tasted in Ireland. Since it was just lunch cannot say much more about the food did look around some of the larger platters being served looked ample and inviting. Service was excellent and quick to bring the food out considering the... More

Called here this afternoon during the Ring of Kerry drive. Came on the place by chance, got the end terrace table, sun shining on top of us, sound of the river by the cafe, it was gorgeous. Staff were very nice and food was very tasty. We had turkey sandwich, chowder, chicken sandwich, pizza and burger. All presented well, hot... More

Among all the great food we had in Sneem this meal was very poor. Perhaps it was because we arrived 10 mins before the kitchen closed but we were a party of 2 adults and 3 kids and each of us was disappointed. The kids portions were very meagre - they were actually able to count their chips. My curry... More

My only gripe with this place was that the service was a bit overbearing- as soon as you arrive in, the older gentleman just pounces on you for your order, and there is very little time to get settled and have a think. Other than that, it's OK.

We stopped here on our visit to the ring of Kerry. It's right on the route. Quaint little family run operation. We had 7 of us, which setea can be difficult, but they pulled it off without a hitch. Had the smoked salmon salad which was great and generous. Number of people had the fish and chips. Good "bar food"... More

We stopped in for a tea/coffee and cake and the service and food was so nice, and sitting out on the terrace listening to the river rush past was also very relaxing, so we decided to head back for our main meal later. They remembered us, and thanked us for coming back again. Great food, great service, lovely location, ticks... More

Stopped off for breakfast while touring the Ring of Kerry. Everything about the venue was excellent from the warm and friendly welcome from the staff, nothing was too much trouble, to the very tasty breakfast. The premises were spotlessly clean and warm. Food was prepared and cooked while we enjoyed a cup of coffee and was served on hot plates... More

We stopped here for a cappuccino when touring the ring of Kerry . If you like lemon meringue pie you must indulge in some here. Not only was it delicious but the portion we had was enormous. We could easily have shared one piece. But with something that scrumptious....well you have to try your best to get through it!

My husband and I love this gem of a cafe in Sneem. We've visited again this year after discovering it during our last trip to Ireland. Everything is freshly prepared and reasonably priced. From homemade soup and bread to salads with warm goat cheese or hearty entrees, we have been pleased. Definitely worth visiting!
