We drove to Sneem yesterday, what a pretty village, we ate in The Blue Bull. Nice welcome when we arrived, food served quickly and really tasty. We had a lovely Irish coffee and dessert and savored the old world atmosphere, really enjoyed it.

Celtic 32 and wild garlic are the rude ones, I was in the queue for food yesterday in The Blue Bull when that guy cut in front of me. He immediately began giving the poor girls behind the counter a tirade of abuse about how he should not have to queue! what makes you so special I thought! Anyway he... More

The owner of this pub should have a good look at how the staff treat the customer. They are so rude that I just waked out. We where going to have food but if this is the first impression you get when you walk in the door. If the staff stop taking too there friends at the bar they would... More

Was on a drive with my boyfriend and said wed stop here for food. Despite only maybe ten people in there the two waitresses were rude and obnoxious. Made us feel we were interrupting them . We left promptly with the two girls rolling ther eyes at us. A shame for a beautiful place. I would advise a manager or... More

We went to the blue bull recently, we had the scallop & monk fish & the steak, they were lovely & great value. It was busy so we were expecting a delay but we didn't have to wait very long. We ate out in the patio area with lovely flowers along the wall.

We visited the Blue Bull for lunch, and we were immediately confused as to where to order - there don't seem to be any signs or other indicators that you order at the bar and then sit down. And no one is telling you! I asked when I saw no signs. We ordered, paid and sat down. It wasn't terribly... More

Excellent drinks, great patio in the back for sunny days and nice billiards table. The food was a good value and an overall substantial menu.

We were there on a slow day and the restaurant was far from busy. But that didn't deter them from providing excellent service and ensuring our pint glasses were full. It is far roomier on the interior than it appears from the outside. The back patio is delightful. We were fortunate to avoid the midges. Be sure to stop here... More

I have had many enjoyable years in this pub and in the early days of pub food it did very well. As is often the case the food became overpriced, over elaborated and a little pretentious. Why don't great pubs stick with the basics of really good pub food. The chef and owner I guess.

Of all the places we ate while visiting Sneem last weekend, this place was by far the best of the lot. We dropped in on spec on Sunday evening and we were really pleasantly surprised by the buzz in the place and by the nice beer garden at the back. We had a couple of drinks and then moved inside...
