the location is what its all about, it looks so pretty from the outside and the wait staff could not do enough for us. the menu is vast and very promising but a little on the expensive side for a pub side restaurant. The boy (2) had spag bol, from the kiddie menu, priced at a huge price of €7... More

I am so... More

We spent time 3 evenings at Bunkers. Ger, the barman , was very engaging and we had a great discussion of Irish whiskies. Great service from Teresa. Desserts from cafe next door were excellent.

Had a long leisurely Full Irish Breakfast, sitting in the window looking out at the new Square. Was still at lunch time when the entire place filled up with mostly locals, a good sign for any eatery. Grub & Atmosphere was good.

We just happened to stop here for food while doing the Ring of Kerry and I have to say that our meal was delicious. Everything we got was freshly cooked, tasty and appealing. If you are looking for a decent dinner or snack I would highly recommend this place!

we had lunch here while shopping in town and now know why it's always crowded! the food and service were excellent and the atmosphere was very friendly, even to strangers. Lots of local business people having lunch as well as transients. great location in the center of town with easy parking a block away in the town lot.

We stopped a couple on the street and asked where we might find a good place for a bite to set and a Guiness. The immediate response was " Bunkers". We went and had a fabulous lunch! Roasted stuffed leg of lamb! Fantastic! The staff were exceptional ( thanks Paula) and of course the tv was on and the boys... More

Warm and friendly. A variety of food from Italian, stir-fry, to traditional Irish. Reasonably priced..Plenty of drink. We really enjoyed our meal here.
