Good Find

This was one of the best meals we had in Ireland. We were not impressed with Irish food in general, but this place had some interesting offerings and everything we tried was solid. The highlight was the coffee creme brulee for dessert. We were also pleased to see lots of locals eating here, since... read more

Nice atmosphere, excellent service. Good place for an evening out. The food was good, not the best I've had but still very good. They were also very willing to accommodate any dietary restrictions.

The Bianconi serves great food - consistently !!! I have never had a bad experience here - the soups are homemade - try the cream of mushroom - amazing !! All of the salads are fresh and beautifully presented - the main courses are varied and provide great choice for vegetarians / gluten free etc and the old fashioned meat... More

Loved my meal here- Fish was ovenbaked & cooked prefectly. The salad that accompanied the dish was very tasty. The only thing was that it was a quite monday afternoon they were two of us & were seated into little alcove next to a family of 8; when the family had to move from the table; we had to move... Lovely: great for parties and if you like tapas, this is for you and very reasonably priced. Went without booking and we were found a table (the last one-how lucky were we?) and so the food and the old church made for a memorable evening.

Even during the recession, this restaurant required booking in advance - what does that say about a place? Not exactly cheap and the menu doesn't change very often, but you're guaranteed a great meal every time - there's no 'hit and miss' here. Lovely atmosphere, seating is divided so you feel like you're in a small comfy area and the... More

Good food and service, absolutely nothing to blame. We came with a group of 6 and had several dishes and everything was good. The location is nice and tidy. I could recommend The Bianconi everyone coming along to Killorglin
