A friend and I decided to meet for breakfast here before doing some mountain walking in nearby Glenbeigh.I normally only have full breakfast as a treat--- occasionally.I have enjoyed many a good meal and Irish coffee at the Bianconi since 1976.It is an establishment well worth a visit if you are in Killorglin--- very atmospheric and well run. Our breakfast... More

Food is always good but the staff are not the most friendly. Not that they are terribly rude just some times you get the sense that you are a bit of a bother.

I order their Catch of the Day, beautifully flavoured fish, very fresh loved it! For dessert, I had sticky pudding, amazing. It was my birthday dinner and this place was definitely a fantastic pick.

My boyfriend and I spent our first anniversary here, I surprised him with an overnight stay and my parents treated us to dinner. The food was absolutely fab, I had goats cheese to start and chicken for mains, which was lovely and moist, with gorgeous root veg and chips. Himself had stuffed mushrooms and steak, it was cooked to perfection... More

Dropped in for a late lunch. Staff seemed surprised to see us and the restaurant was empty. The food (Ploughmans and a toasted sandwhich) was good. Just what we needed. The beer was fresh and the coffee was too.

We happened to be here during the Puck Fair and were pleasantly surprised by the speed of customer service and serves were just excellent. Normal restaurant menu is very extensive, and on the occasion of the fair, they have reduced the range of, but not quality.

Booked in afternoon for evening dinner- they managed to fit us in at a bar table which we found comfortable and not at all noisy. Food was excellent with good choices. Bar tables and restaurant full so indicative of popularity, service was good, welcoming and efficient. Good car park on opposite side of road.

we always make a special trip over to the Bianconi for their food, it's that good.... right down to the small side salads, everything tastes great and is very thoughtfully presented. always busy, so best to book ahead. helpful and attentive service with staff always around in the background ready to take ur order and serve, without hovering too much.
