Took a chance and it paid off!~

Driving through Killorglin on our holiday and we decided to stop at Nick's for dinner - we did not know anything about it. The decor is fabulous, the food was spectacular and the service was great. We felt welcome and left planning to absolutely return.

We arrived early, without booking, and was shown to a very small table with 'high' chairs covered in a crushed velvet material, hence you slipped off the seat! My wife had a bad back and asked if it was possible to move to another table where the diners were leaving but was told it was booked, it was still empty... More

My sister, brother and I are in Ireland to experience the land of our ancestors. Nick's was recommended by the clerk at the rental car office so we made our way to Killorglin, and we are so glad we did! The owner, John, greeted us at the door to welcome us. He was very cordial and seated us at a... More

We first visited Nick's a year ago on our annual trip to Killarney with friends and returned last evening as we had had such a lovely meal before. As soon as we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome by John who has recently taken over from his parents. He has spent the winter redecorating so the place is... More

We have visited many times but this is the first time with the new decor and menu. It is now very sleek and pleasant, the piano player is excellent and friendly and the food is outstanding. John does a great job of making everyone feel at home and we came with friends from America who just loved it!

Visiting Killorglin for the first time, we began walking up the hill looking for restaurants. One look at the menu outside Nick's was enough to make us decide to eat there and we weren't disappointed. We were offered both the early bird three course menu and an a la carte one. It was a difficult choice but we both ended... More

I visited Nicks with friends last weekend. It has undergone a stylish makeover since my last visit. From the second we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the owner John. Service was wonderful, food was fantastic. The presentation of the food deserves a special mention. Pure art. I am looking forward to our next visit already
