Description: Jacks Coastguard Restaurant is a landmark building overlooking Rossbeigh...
Jacks Coastguard Restaurant is a landmark building overlooking Rossbeigh and Inch Peninsula in the seaside village of Cromane between Kilorglin & Glenbeigh on the Ring of Kedrry route. Nestled against the Atlantic Ocean, enjoy panoramic sea and mountain views while you enjoy the finest of seafood. The Station Bar and Coastguard Restaurant successfully combines old world charm with modern elegance.Guests can linger over a drink in the bustling Station Bar or enjoy the soft tones of the piano through the restaurant by our resident pianist JP Murphy. Only the finest and freshest of seafood is used to create dishes that would rival the most discerning of palate. Signature dishes such a Cromane Mussels, Tiger Prawns or perfectly seared Scallops should not be missed. For the unwilling seafood diner, our succulent Fillet of Beef should suffice nicely.

Driving thru County Kerry on the 'back roads' and found this hidden gem. We arrived late afternoon and were very pleased to find that the restaurant was open for lunch ... the view out the dining room window was fabulous ... and the food and service were great ... would definitely want to stop back

Revisited this hidden gem again, delighted to find food, ambience and entertainment still top notch. A must if you are in the area, the scallops and black pudding - delicious, my daughter had tempura prawns and she wouldn't share .....

Beautiful view of the Atlantic. Lovely piano playing to accompany your meal. However, the quality of food was poor. Not very child friendly either, and definitely not for picky eaters!

On our way home from our holidays we decided to stop here for lunch and what a surprise. The bar itself is a typical Irish pub by when you walk into the restaurant it is a total surprise. The view is stunning out onto landscaped gardens with the Atlantic as a back drop. The restaurant is white table clothes and... More

a really superb restaurant in a besutiful seafront setting. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Fabulously prepared and served fresh fish. Expensive, but worth it compared to other restaurants in the area.

Great food, very nice location, kind people, charming place. It was really nice to dine in this restaurant! The only thing I missed was the little choice of the fixed price menú, two kinds of fish and two kinds of meat: I would have liked the chance to taste more dishes. But the food was just perfect. I recommend it!

A nice place to stop for a pint any time. Would recommend the Bar Menu as the evening menu is very pricey

Had a great great night here very recently in the teeth of a howling gale outside. An unassuming building leads you first into a very traditional Irish pub but walk through an archway to find yourself in a spacious, light filled, multi level room with curved glass view over the bay complete with piano player. A high standard of finish... More
