Nestled against the Atlantic Ocean, enjoy panoramic sea and mountain views while you enjoy the finest of seafood. The Station Bar and Coastguard Restaurant successfully combines old world charm with modern elegance.Guests can linger over a drink in the bustling Station Bar or enjoy the soft tones of the piano through the restaurant by our resident pianist JP Murphy. Enjoyed a delicious meal with a business companion on Saturday night. Never been to Jack's before and on a whistle stop tour of Kerry. Wish we could have eaten here all week - fantastic quality food, wonderful atmosphere and just the right balance of helpful, friendly service from our lovely waitress who could not do enough for us. Couldn't place... More

On Sunday had the best lunch with beat views and service! Just read last review and cant believe i was in same plaice. I and my husband were served by a lovely London lady Diane who looked after all our needs, even recommending a tasty wine. The food was so delicious and we both thought good value for money. It... Fabulous place! Brian treats everyone like a member of the family even if it's your 1st or weekly visit. Food is second to none. Would recommend this place for a visit

Firstly let me say I'm a huge fan of Jacks, and at every opportunity take friends, family and business there where possible. Today however I was disappointed not by the food because that was amazing but by the service and the staff. We ordered lunch and and a half bottle of wine and there was a nice delay between courses... More

Jack's is excellent in every way possible. The service provided by Brian and team is the best . There is a variety of dishes available, with something for everyone, and they never have a problem catering for those on special diets. The setting is second to none. Good value for money I would encourage anyone to visit jacks and experience... More

To find such a place in the middle of an isolated fishing village was unexpected. The food on offer is mainly freshly caught seafood, though you can get a few chicken/meat dishes. Have eaten there 3 times and I think the chef is a little generous when seasoning with salt. However, last time I asked specifically not to add salt... More

My (new) husband is a native of Cromane so I have been visiting Jacks with him for more than 13 years now for socialising, dinner and many family occasions. We have consistently enjoyed great service and food in Jacks so it was an obvious choice when looking for somewhere for our after wedding party in December 2013. We were certainly... More

Was delighted to find that Jack's has an offshoot deli in the nearby town of killorglin, stocking all the handmade breads and many cakes that are available at the restaurant. Lots of beautiful hand made chocolates and many ingredients one would normally have to travel to Cork for. We had olive rolls with Turkey, cranberry sauce and salad, totally yummy.... More

My husband and I were recently in killorglin and planned our day to incorporate an evening meal in Jacks. We had been some time ago and we were not disappointed second time round. The food and service was outstanding. Great menu, lovely ambience, attention to detail is tremendous. It was the perfect end to a great day!!! We'll worth a... More
