Great fish, too many waiters

Jacks is a great place - fantastic ambience, good beer, and stunningly cooked fish - the scalops and monkfish being amongst the best I have ever had the pleasure of eating. The food is worthy of a 10, never mind a 5. Only one area could be improved - and it's not enough for me to dock a point... read more

Came here for our last meal in Ireland before we left for Kerry Airport. We came as a group of 6, including a child. There weren't many options for children (I didn't recall any actually), so our boy shared his dad's tagliatelle and Grandad's fish and chips. The food was delicious and fresh, though it did take a little while... More

My family of five ate here while on vacation in County Kerry. On a rainy night, it was the perfect setting because the service was incredibly friendly, the live piano music was entertaining and the food was warm and delicious. I'd go here again on another trip to the area.

A popular local restaurant, hidden behind a fairly remote pub façade. Courteous but friendly service with a winning smile and Irish wit. More than competent cooking produced interesting dishes. Wine list is perhaps a little limited and it can be noisy, with the pianist competing with celebration parties.

Tho' not exactly dressed for the venue we were made welcome and when offered to sit at the bar we were told we were welcome to sit at a table. Next, with minimum delay our order arrived, a most delicious and generous soup. Thank you to Aoife an exceptional waitress and the chef. Our first visit , will be back!!... More

We first came here for dinner on a rainy Thursday night. We had requested a window seat and could see across Dingle Bay to the sand dunes of Inch Beach, but not much else. We enjoyed our mains, although the veggies were way overcooked for our palates. The dessert we shared was delicious and service was excellent. When we returned... More

We had our wedding lunch at Jacks Coastguard Restaurant and couldn't have wished to be any where better. The food was to die for, the service was brilliant, and nothing was too much trouble for Brian and his staff. We had a wonderful time and will return every opportunity we get. Highly recommend Jacks Coastguard Restaurant!!
