Description: Jacks Coastguard Restaurant is a landmark building overlooking Rossbeigh and Inch Peninsula in the seaside village of Cromane between Kilorglin & Glenbeigh on the Ring of Kedrry route. Nestled against the Atlantic Ocean, enjoy panoramic sea and mountain views while you enjoy the finest of seafood. The Station Bar and Coastguard Restaurant successfully combines old world charm with modern elegance.Guests can linger over a drink in the bustling Station Bar or enjoy the soft tones of the piano through the restaurant by our resident pianist JP Murphy. Only the finest and freshest of seafood is used to create dishes that would rival the most discerning of palate. Signature dishes such a Cromane Mussels, Tiger Prawns or perfectly seared Scallops should not be missed. For the unwilling seafood diner, our succulent Fillet of Beef should suffice nicely.

We are on holiday driving from Kenmare to Dingle and and read all of the great reviews for Jacks. We detoured out of the way especially to eat here. They did not have the mussels which are their specialty and there were only a handful of choices for lunch. When we walked in there were only two other tables occupying... More

We booked in for a Sunday lunch. It was my first time eating here after hearing so much many good things from my friends and family. Well, I wasn't disappointed. The food was top notch and the service was spot on. We go a table by the window, looking out across the bay at Rossbeigh. I couldn't recommend this place... More

A final meal in Cromane was in this wonderful restaurant. Modern, Chic, perfect service, perfect food, perfect presentation and a perfect table as we watched the sun set. We had been told great things and we experienced amazing things. Jacks is a MUST.

A must visit when in the area. Great location with wonderful views over the estuary. The chowder is to die for with the great freshly cooked bread. Also try the tempura prawns. Service friendly and efficient.

The Black Sole was the best ever tasted, looking forward to our next visit in October. Jacks Restaurant looks fairly unassuming from the outside and you could be forgiven for thinking it was nothing special when you first walk in. However, as soon as you enter the restaurant area it's like a completely different place. There is a chap happily playing the piano and we were met by 3 people with broad smiles and a lovely... More
