Description: Jacks Coastguard Restaurant is a landmark building overlooking Rossbeigh...
Jacks Coastguard Restaurant is a landmark building overlooking Rossbeigh and Inch Peninsula in the seaside village of Cromane between Kilorglin & Glenbeigh on the Ring of Kedrry route. Nestled against the Atlantic Ocean, enjoy panoramic sea and mountain views while you enjoy the finest of seafood. The Station Bar and Coastguard Restaurant successfully combines old world charm with modern elegance.Guests can linger over a drink in the bustling Station Bar or enjoy the soft tones of the piano through the restaurant by our resident pianist JP Murphy. Only the finest and freshest of seafood is used to create dishes that would rival the most discerning of palate. Signature dishes such a Cromane Mussels, Tiger Prawns or perfectly seared Scallops should not be missed. For the unwilling seafood diner, our succulent Fillet of Beef should suffice nicely.

A MUST VISIT

JUST LOVELY. We had an excellent meal at this restaurant. It was our first visit and everything about it was great. Right from the moment we arrived until we left we couldn't find fault with anything. Excellent and imaginative food. We will certainly be returning.

Good reviews of a place in a new town make you very excited about the possibility of discovering "just the right place" to enjoy a dinner with your mate. After a long day of exploring the Ring of Kerry, we wanted to enjoy a special meal, and this seemed to fit the bill, from all the positive reviews. What can... More

The food was superb and the service impeccable. I was impressed by the contrast between a rustic local pub and the notorious decoration of the restaurant out in the back with an amazing scenic view of the mountains and the sea. It's the right place to go for a meal with family and friends. I went to jacks restaurant in... More

I was looking forward to visiting as I had heard great reports but was not impressed with our evening. When you arrive to have a pre dinner drink, it is into a run down bar with a TV and no charm whatsoever. The restaurant , which is behind this, is in total contrast. White tablecloths, pianist, sophisticated decor. We had... More

A truly delightful experience from beginning to end, the service outstanding, the staff was warm, attentive, and caring, a culinary explosion of flavors from the starters, the main course and culminating in the lovely desserts. I brought my Daughter, Son-in-law, and 4 grandchildren, ages 5-11, they thoroughly enjoyed every bite!!!!! This was an annual family dinner affair, that I, certainly,... More

The place itself is just outstanding. On first arrival it looks like traditional old building but then you go in, through the trad bar at the front to an amazing modern restaurant at the back with huge glass windows looking out at the sea. Being picky, it took a while for someone to notice the four of us standing there... More

We came back, having had dinner here a couple of weeks ago we drove a long way back to enjoy this special place. Again met and seated by the lovely English lady ( Diane) that took care of us before, all I can say is go, they have it so right. Thank you to all at Jake's,
