Delicious food, great service, reasonable price.

Beautiful looking and tasting dishes all round. Staff attentive amd friendly. Probably among the best food available in Connemara now and at a very fair price.

We arrived really late, so late that we probably should have been turned away but they opened their doors and kitchen to us with a smile. The staff were absolutely spot on, good fun and really helpful in suggesting wine for our meal. The food was tasty! All our plates were picked clean by the end - an excellent sign.... More

We ate here just before Easter and has a very tasty meal - the kids had pizza, my wife had a chicken salad and I had pasta with salmon in a cream sauce. For dessert we had a very nice apple and forest fruit pudding and also chocolate fondue. Everything was served in a timely fashion. Restaurant ambiance was very... More

Excellent food with fresh (local?) products. Excellent service. Excellent single malt Connemara. A comment on the decoration: some electric cables could be easily hiden... Last but not least, they serve later than their neighbours!!

We stumbled upon this gem of a cafe. Inquired prior to seating if they could manage gluten free options. They had a good number of options that were appealing. Enjoyed the meal and would make a point to go back if in area.

My wife and I had a lovely meal on Friday evening. We started with mushroom risotto and vegetable soup. Main courses consisted of the House Specials of pasta with salmon for my wife and black pudding and beef burger for myself. Dessert of chocolate brownie for myself. Lovely bottle of Chilean Pinot Noir. We had some after dinner drinks. Cost... More

I had hake on bed of kale served with really fresh veg perfectly steamed, also came with aubergine purée. It was excellent. My husband really enjoyed his salmon which was perfectly cooked and we shared an apple and blueberry frangipani for desert. The chef used to work in Claridges in London and it shows. My only gripe was the house... More

On this trip we tried the seafood chowder at about a half dozen places on the west coast and this place had the best. Huge chunks of fish (salmon etc.) in an over-the-top creamy, buttery mixture with fantastic whole wheat scones on the side. Went back a second day to confirm that it wasn't a dream and then started to... More

Ate outside in the late Autumn sun and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service. The seafood chowder was one of the best i have ever had. The fish and chips, although a small portion, were very tasty, as was my wifes wild mushroom pasta. Service was attentive without being obtrusive. Would visit again. So, whats the issue? It may...
