Good ambience, great service and good food at a decent price. What more could you ask?! Also good wine and beer selection.

We stayed in the Ardargh hotel for five nights on our holiday to Ireland and we ate in the restaurant for a couple of nights with excellent food. The other three nights we ate at Derryclare. What a find .. Friendly staff, wonderful food and a great ambience... We loved it so much we just didn't bother to look anywhere... More

We stopped by for a quick bite to eat after a day of travelling. The layout of the restaurant along with the decor contributes to an intimate feel. The food was simply superb and the staff were prompt and attentive.

Had family meal here last week. Children had pizza which was homemade and fresh but felt overpriced at €7.50. I had the burger which was over cooked and chips were fine but not homemade. Felt overall not value for money and don't have early bird. Service was good however and place very busy.

I had a special pasta- smoked salmon with a creamy sauce. That was excellent, but my husband had the burger which had black pudding through it. It was amazing, best burger I've tried in Ireland. I say this as an American living in Ireland for the last 6 years. I love burgers, and can be quite picky about beef, and... More

We had a really decent meal here, the service was friendly and efficient and they made an effort. We all ate from the specials menu, I had a beetroot salad which was delicious, my friend had the chicken and pesto pizza which was tasty too. The place is cosy and has a pleasant atmosphere. They could maybe bring out some... More

We arrived here starving at about 8 pm with no reservation but were immediatley seated and given a jug of water straight away while ordering. We ordered pizzas for 2 with different toppings to the menu[no problem] and 2 chicken dishes . Our chicken was delicious . The Gnocchi served alongside the chicken was gorgeous . The vegetables were just... More

We had a family dinner there. The food was nice and the service was good on a busy night. Not the best meal we had in Clifden but perfectly fine. The have a great kids desert - chocolate fondue with toasted marshmallows and strawberries - but it was very expensive at €6.50 per portion. That was strange as otherwise the... More

I really liked this restaurant - the staff were really lovely and helpful and we weren't waiting long at all. On our second visit here, we had the option of having our pizza as a takeaway or eating inside, and since we were in a hurry this was very helpful. The location is great and the prices too.
