Relaxed Family run restaurant with breath taking sunset in the bay over dinner, fine locally sourced seafood(many local meat options also) and home grown vegetables and salad. Cosy open fire places in the restaurant make even the coolest of days enjoyable and a large open turf fire in the Bar is ideal for having pre dinner and after dinner drinks in front of. The sun terrace at the front overlooking the bay for those fine days is a must for pre dinner drinks. Taxi service available please enquire when reserving for dinner.

Fantastico. Best fish restaurant in Ireland

Amazing location with incredibly high quality. Fish is so fresh I couldn't believe it. We tried the monkfish and the turbot. So nice tastes. Very delicate and at the same time various. Courtesy at the top! You HAVE to go there. Reserve a table with sea view.

Had a lovely meal sitting in the windows watching the sun set over the bay. The hosts were most welcoming and the selection on the menu mouth watering. The seafood we had was delicious! Well cooked, great flavours. The wine recommended was superb. Loved the touch of fresh salads and vegetables from the garden out the back. Wonderful setting and... More

Whilst driving through Galway, I stopped here for tea. It is a lovely looking restaurant in an idyllic location. I wish I'd booked in for dinner or for the night. The restaurant looked very nice, and they often have music. I just had tea and some very nice homemade biscuits. If I get back to Galway, I'd definitely stay here.

Decided to treat ourselves for our last night in Connemara. We came away thinking there was just nothing that wasn't lovely. The downstairs lounge bar was a lovely way to start the evening with cocktails and nibbles in front of a roaring fire. Everything was done at our pace, the service was attentive but not over the top. We asked... More

Ate in this restaurant in August and it was so good we went back the following night. The starter of mussels in Thai sauce was delicious and a good sized portion. The monkfish and turbot main courses I had were perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious, the sauces were excellent, this was some of the best seafood I've had. The vegetables... More

We had dinner here while staying in the area. We were able to get a table right at the window which was absolutely the best! Service was excellent. We ordered Asian style scallops and monkfish, both meals were amazing, high quality fish and great flavours. The fish came with fresh vegetables from the garden which were mouthwatering. We shared a... More

The restaurant overlooks the bay and what a sight!... Such a beautiful setting for a wonderful meal with superb food and ambience. This has to be one of the best views in a restaurant I have ever been in. Not to be missed... Make sure you book, it is VERY popular!.....

This is a restaurant we go to quite a lot while in Clifden. The food and service are always excellent. There is a personal touch and it is obviously a family run hotel/restaurant. The seafood is particularly good
