This is one of best little coffee shops which just happens to sell the best array and selection of freshly made cakes in the West of Ireland. I defy anyone not to be tempted by the range of cakes on offer. I love this place!

Whereby you should not get me wrong: besides the fact that Clifden is a neat little town, this place is nice, everything is fresh and mostly tasteful, the layout is attractive, and there is pleasant seating to enjoy the products. But this is what we can expect from a good bakery, can’t we? Uh, not to forget: price level is... More

No thanks for the purchase, no information about the option available. Not very welcome with the turists. What a pitty, because I loved Cliffden.

This is a nice place with good food. However, their prices are what you could call "Tourist" prices. We paid €18+ for 2 slices of Quiche (no sides or salad) 2 teas and 1 pastry! Walsh's is a nice place to eat but NOT at that price.

A nice bakery / coffee shop in Clifden town centre. On street parking outside on a pay-display basis. A fantastic range of pastries can be seen as you enter the bakery section, all are name tagged so when you continue further into the coffee shop area it's easy to ask and pay for. Hot plate menu is varied and is... More

Great views of the bay from the back of the cafe. Shop is a bakery to the front and a cafe to the back. Spotlessly clean.Used by locals and tourists alike.

We visited here for lunch while driving round Clifden. This is a little tea shop situated in the main square and sold sandwiches and cakes and soft drinks. The nipper had a packed with filling ham sandwich and a rocky road for dessert. Mum had a toast and cake and I had some Quiche and coffee cake. Staff brought the... More

One of the nicest coffee shops/luncheries I have visited. It's bright and airy with a fantastic variety of cakes and bakes and lunches etc. Highly recommended!

We visited Clifden for 5 days late September. We had breakfast's at the Bakery every morning. My husband loved the Irish Breakfasts and they are very accommodating as I fell in love with "white pudding" and it was no problem for me to have a side order of that with my breakfast. The best homemade sausage rolls I have ever... More
