We hung out in this place all afternoon because of rain. We moved from scones and tea to a beer. All wonderful. Good selection of the latter as well as the bakery products. Also fresh salads.

One of my favorite places to stop in for a coffee or pastry in Clifden. Walsh's has lovely meal options as well as amazing baked goods. The beautiful view from the cafe and the lovely smell of fresh baked bread add to the ambiance at Walsh's.

Really busy in town during our stay but still the food, service and friendliness in Walsh's was brilliant as it has been when we have been there on previous visits to Clifden also.

We ordered soup of the day and chicken and mushroom pie, both of which was nice and good value, the pie arrived with a nice salad, generally there was a good selection of hot/cold food. The sweets are also very good with a large selection to purchase from the bakery part at the front of the shop. The lace was... More

I go to Walsh's every time I am in clifden and I have to say the standards are slipping They have the nicest sweet treats imaginable hands down but their savoury food is a little dissappointing. My sister ordered a tuna wrap and it was 5.75. It had no side salad or crisps with it and I would expect that.... More

We were delighted to come across this gorgeous bakery in Clifden. Not only do they serve delicious home made cakes/pastries, they also do a really good breakfast where you sit at the window and enjoy the view. They have a great selection of good tasty wholesome food which i will definitely be back to try!

I probably would have given the place only 3 stars had it not been for the delicious scones! Myself and my Dad came here one weekday afternoon during our stay in Galway, we had just been on a long walk in the Connemara National Park so needed something to refresh ourselves! At first it was a bit confusing as there... More

Excellent friendly efficient local bakery with sandwiches and cakes to eat in and take away. Every decent tourist town has a focal cafe which delivers good quality quick food at a reasonable price, and this is the one for Clifden.
