Cosy bar, great service

Lovely atmosphere, relaxed setting. We had some small bites and some craft beer, really pleasant way to while away an hour or so!

Hubs and I had a lovely meal in Guys..chicken liver pate was to die for..my crab cakes could have done with a little more crab and less potatoe...hubs had chicken goujons and they were very plentiful...we shared and icecream and butterscotch sauce ....it was divine...my only gripe was the scant crab....

Nice cosy and comfortable bar on Clifden's main street. Good food and good pints - what more do you need?

We went here based on the trip advisor recommendations and it was gorgeous! A lovely old fashioned and yet modern bar, with some of the best seafood of our trip. Go right now and order the glorious mussels in white wine!

Really liked this place from the minute we stepped in the door. Staff were extremely friendly and the food was very tasty. I had the gluten free chowder and my partner had the burger. Both were delicious, good portion size and definitely value for money. Very pleasant evening with some craic from the staff thrown. Thanks guys

We have been to Guy's Bar the last time we visited Cliftden. It's a lovely place to go for fresh local good food. The seafood chowder was sensational- creamy tasty and not fishy at all - served with homemade brown bread. The duck spring rolls were crispy and packed with flavours! They also do great pizzas. The mussels were delicious-... More

We stopped at Guys near the end of our Connemara day trip. The menu provided a nice variety of selections. I enjoyed the potato leek soup and a goat cheese salad. A highlight was the apple berry crumble that we shared. The food was all very, very good. A nice finish to our long day.
