Quaint inn in unique village

Quaint hotel in tourist hotspot. This is a hotel for admirers of old but nice things and places. Not the most luxurious but definitely one of the more interesting inn we have visited in Ireland. We stayed in the hotel and decided to try the restaurant following a recommendation. It was great food and brilliant service. Its not an extensive menu but the quality is fabulous and won't leave you hungry. A great place for a special evening

The hotel was charming and very clean. The staff was gracious and very helpful. We had a fabulous breakfast before leaving for the hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

Dunraven Arms was recommended by our driver and it did not disappoint. The dinner was excellent. The Roast Beef was carved at the table and seconds were offered and accepted. A good pice of meet. The bar had a big screen tv and Patricia at the bar was attentive to our needs. A fine dinner for a hotel dinning room.

One overnight stay as attending a wedding so can only advise on the bed and breakfast. Large bedroom in the old part of the building was fine. Décor amplified the era with a grand, waste high double bed, canopy style which provides fun and laughter for those with partners of smaller stature attempting to get into the bed. Very comfortable... More

We had dinner here and were very disappointed. The hotel is wonderful, but the restaurant needs help. The meal started with a kind of baked pizza roll instead of bread. These had clearly been made several days earlier and were completely dried out by the time they made their way to our table. They are also an odd substitute for... More

The Dunraven restaurant was able to seat us with 5 adults + 1 child on short notice. Food was good. We were with some vegetarian friends, for them the choice was not great. I liked that they had a kids menu, but they did not have anything for the kid to entertain, e.g. crayons and a picture to draw.

We ate in the Mague Restaurant at this hotel. We came late, but they seated us anyhow for breakfast. Unfortunately, because of time we could only have the breakfast buffet. We had a table by the window with a flower box filled with geraniums outside-lovely!

Eat here recently and enjoyed the food. Smoked haddock fish cakes @ €7.50 and a smoked salmon plate with Brown bread @ €9.50 were very nice but a small glass of red house wine @ €7.50 really was overpriced even for this'luxurious up market' venue. Service was good but maybe a bit over enthusiastic or else they thought we might... More
