Being American's we stood out - but the owner saw to it himself that we were welcomed and well hydrated!

Had a good dinner and a few pints at the end of our day of travels. A bit tight, but that makes it all the more friendly

During my recent 3 month stay in Adare this pub became my local. The food was always good, the staff friendly, welcoming and helpful to all who entered through the traditional pub doors. Proprietor Michael was available and the weekly music night awesome. I took all my visitors for drinks and a meal and highly recommend if you are in... More

Our first dinner in Ireland during a 6 day stay. The atmosphere and decor a lot of fun. We had Irish stew, cabbage and bacon with mashed potatoes, pork chops and fish and chips. All had good taste and good presentation. Service was good, staff friendly.

I recently had my lunch here. I had a chicken and pesto ciabatta. Very tasty meal and came with generous salad and chips. I frequent this bar/restaurant every time im in the area. An extensive menu is available. Would definitely recommend.

Dinner, Lunch, Drinks, Music... This place had it all, as well as a welcoming and friendly staff everyday of our trip. Whether it was our first night in Ireland, exhausted and tired needing some good comfort food, (Bacon and Cabbage, as well as Guinness), or an rainy afternoon watching a rugby match over several pints with the locals this was... Good food, good drink. Staff is friendly. This is our second visit to Ireland, staying in Adare and this is my favorite pub in town.

I don't think you can find a more traditional Irish Pub. The local favourite. Great pub food, friendly staff, Irish music and lively conversation. Strangers in the night we were immediately welcomed in to a very enjoyable evening.

I had my first Guiness beef dish here and it was amazing! I tried the same dish in 3 or 4 other cities in Ireland, and none were as good. The food is excellent here, as is the service and the ambience. They even had good traditional music while we were there too.
